December's Sunday deals are plentiful

It's the holidays and that means you must treat yourself to a new video game. That's just the way it works guys. And to help with your game purchasing endeavor, we've wrangled up some of this week's best deals. So, go ahead and take a gander, because there's a lot of clicking to do.

The only notable offer Circuit City has running this week is Two Worlds for $40. Not all that exciting, so let's move on over to Best Buy. They have Saints Row for $20, The Orange Box, TimeShift and Madden 08 for $50 and they're also offering a $5 gift card with the purchase of any family friendly or social title including Viva Pinata, Viva Pinata: Party Animals, Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal, PopCap Arcade: Volume 1, Rock Band, Guitar Hero III and Scene It? Hopefully you got all that, because our linking abilities are taxed. Target is giving out free $10 gift cards with the purchase of either Madden NFL, NBA Live or FIFA 08. Finally, Kmart is offering a $25 gift card (mail in offer) with the purchase of an Xbox 360, $10 off all EA Sports games and an offer where if you can buy one game you get another for 50% off. Select games only, CoD4 and Proving Grounds included.

Our head hurts now, deal searching is mind numbingly difficult. So, if you spotted a great deal online or in-store this week feel free to share with your fellow fanboys. Just don't hurt your head, today's hunting has put us out of commission for the rest of the day.

Just picked up Rock Band for Xbox 360 today at K-mart. It was on sale for $169 and we added a 20% coupon that we snipped a week or two ago. The total damage was $135 and change.

I'm waiting for a store to rock my socks off with a discount on the PS3. I'd really like to pick up a 60gb (original) PS3 for the same price as the 40gb PS3 (For the backwards compatibility) and I know there is a retailer that could make that happen (there is 60gb stock left all over supposedly). Hell, I'd be happy if Sony dropped Motorstorm out of the 80gb bundle, made it 400 dollars, and let me get my backwards compatibility on that way. When you consider that I'd need to buy an HDMI cable, and there are 3 or 4 games I want this Christmas, I can't really spend more than 400 on the console alone. 400 on a console makes my total bill something like 600 dollars. Add in another 100 for the 80gb model and BC, and you are talking 700 dollars spent on myself. So if they make it happen, they make it happen. If not, 40gb PS3, cest la vie.

No. Just saying how the Sunday deals so far have been underwhelming across the board. I could honestly care less if anyone other than myself likes the PS3. Doesn't add anything to my experience =p Having a PS3 will round out my consoles for this "gen" and Blu-Ray movies are pretty sweet (already have HD-DVD, but as you may or may not know, not everything comes out on both).

This years sales are going to be flat. The "Deals" are pretty crappy this year.

BananaBoat...What Frank means is this is an Xbox 360 blog. Most of us don't care about the ps3.

Although Uncharted does look awesome.

It's a 360 blog, but that doesn't mean it's fanboy douche town. Actually, considering that there are a total of 7 "real" comments including mine, but still there were enough hilarious fanboys to hit the -, means that some people need to get a life.

Don't worry kids, the 360 is still king, even if I can't Re-Buy it this Christmas, and instead I'm getting a PS3.

Also what happened to 30 dollar COD4 at Circuit City? I checked all week and it wasn't in once. Screw Circuit City.

So far I've not been impressed with Amazon's deals on games. Each daily deal has been a system so far (and a system that I already own). Good for others, not so much for me.
