Being one of the very first people (maybe even the first) to find the mysterious tape in the second run thru of Hotel Dusk. =D Sadly, I messed up when you're supposed to decode the message on the tape, so somebody else beat me into Room 220 by a couple of hours.

wow I never knew about the mysterious tape in Hotel Dusk, might play it again to see what its about. I have to agree with Hostile, completing Ouendan on Hard was great moment there's such a huge leap between medium and hard.

Beating Elite Beat Agent's three-star difficulty. Well whichever one that's second from the hardest. I'm still stuck on Ouendan's last song for the three-star difficulty...

Ouendan 2 isn't any good because of the song selection.

S-ranking every song on Ouendan 2 on Insane Mode.

That's something to brag about, I guess.

Also, getting gold on every level in Mario Vs. DK 2.

Three-starring New Super Mario Bros. - which is completing every boss, finding every secret exit and gathering all those coins (three per level) - and three-starring every cup in MKDS. I was halfway through the last difficulty setting in EBA, but I got tired of the game and traded it in.

This is going pretty far back, but does anyone remember Feel the Magic XX/XY? Well your's truly borrowed it from a friend and beat the entire game on every difficulty, from Easy to Hell (I'm not lying, that's what its called), and unlocked every single outfit. I still shake when I think about how hard the "Nightmare" stages were on Hell.

Probably all the close calls I can't recall. There are moments where I am one mistake away from losing and then somehow I pull through and get it right. Those moments are always great.

Beaten all 40 Contra 4 challenges. Hard Mode is a work in progress.

Collected every item and planet in Meteos.

Beaten Elite Beat Agents on Hard Rock.

Beaten Megaman ZX on expert difficulty while getting Model X, Model Ox, and getting all the plushies by achieving level 4 victories on every boss.

Beaten Megaman ZX Advent on expert difficulty while getting every boss medal in order to get Model a.

Three starred New Super Mario Brothers.

Collected every item in Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

Beaten Trauma Center: Under the Knife, have an S rank on about half the levels. Yet to beat the extra missions.

Beaten Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow several times over. On and off collecting and levelling up every spirit.

These are all quite obviously some of my favorite games to take them to the level I have. Especially the Mega Man games. I've been a sucker for a good Mega Man game ever since I was a little kid with my NES.

Here are mine:

-Finishing the hardest mode on EBA and both ouendans. I wasn't able to S-rank every song on insane, but I was able to do a perfect 300 RSG in that difficulty.

-3 stars on nsmb without a faq.

-3 stars on every track in Mario Kart.

-Doing a 14 long chain in planet puzzle league? I'm still stuck at trying to beat the computer on avalanche hard higher than level 5. I'm not sure if this is impressive since it's much easier to do chains in this version of the game than in the snes tetris attack (where going above 10 is already pretty good).

yanya: interesting about the tape, I only just heard about it now.

Kudos on ry guy getting on the megaman accomplishments. Those are really hard (I still have to beat hard on advent when I have the chance). I'm a huge megaman fan myself since I've been playing rockman on the famicom as a kid as far as I can remember.

...Pretty much anything i lay hands on gets the legendary treatment lol...EXCEPT CONTRA 4.

Hard Mode should be renamed to "LOL NOOB Mode". Bc that's what Contra 4 makes you feel like..

Anyone gotten past the 4th level? on hard?

Actually, yeah, I have. I've put Contra 4 aside for some of my other games like Trials and Tribulations, but my record at the moment is getting to level 6 on hard.

A couple tips that will greatly increase your survival rate in level 4:

Before that submarine mini-boss, forget about using any other weapon other than the Crush Missile that comes right before it. You can jump down to the lower platforms and lay waste to the boss is about 10 seconds with it.

For the rocket segment, for the love of god, don't lose your Spread Shot. Spray that thing in the air so you don't have to worry at all about missiles and just focus on the jumping.

I was the first (accoding to the internet, at the time) person to find and Catch a missingno. (using an Action Replay; not possible otherwise) in Pokemon Diamond. Approximately 3 weeks later, I saw a video had just been posted on youtube using the same method.

Can't beat games on anything but normal mode :D

P.S. 'Cept Contra 4. I can't even get past Level 2 on Normal. D:
