During last night's airing of Spike TV's VGAs, Ubisoft world premiered the brand new Rainbow Six Vegas 2 trailer. Though, before you get too excited and call up all three of your friends, you should give it a watch first and know that it's not all that entertaining. Well, we shouldn't say that. If you like Vegas, poker chips or green felt then the trailer would be very good. But if you're like us and you enjoy seeing gameplay or anything related to the game in your game trailers then it'll be a bit of a disappointment. We'll wait until we get another, more informative R6V2 trailer before we sound the "excitement alarm". Until then ... next.

Seemed more like a movie teaser trailer than a game teaser trailer.
Can't wait for the game though. Hopefully we'll get the new Splinter Cell before Vegas Deuce.

Well said, but I was a little dissapointed to find out the next Rainbow Six game was going to be another Vegas. Then again I would like to see the same type of game with drasticly improved character customization (perhaps one where it makes more of a difference how you suit up your character) and a prettier multiplayer. Then they need to keep terriorist hunt and online co-op and I'm sold.

Wow, that was utterly terrible. I am offended by it actually... to assume such a lame marketing ploy would gain even the slightest interest. Go away, come back when you have a game to show me. That is what I will buy... a game, right?

I am sure that part of that, where the team are going through the Casino side by side shooting was actually in the trailer for Vegas. Albeit in CGI form, I can't tell if it CGI in this one.
Plus I so want that game.

From the looks of it, a disappointing expansion that includes maps they were already going to release on live. When they went to add two new guns, they decided to package all the new expansion items and create a crappy continuation of a concluded plot in order to reap us from our $$$ and 1up Microsoft and their xbox live download profits.

Ill still buy it even if it turns out to be an expansion cause vegas was the best in the series next to the original.i hated (lockdown,critical hour,and especially black arrow) so ill be picking it up whenever it releases.

I don't care if its just a trumped up expansion pack that just tweaks the original. Just don't fuck up the best multiplayer game out there.

Well the original story left everyone hanging on a conclusion. So hopefully they will wrap that up.
One complaint I had, and hopefully it's addressed. Is the co-op campaign. I think it would be better if it flowed more smoothly, rather than having to load each map. I love my co-op, and I love 4 player co-op.
Maybe a new matchmaking system? I got in kind of late on the multiplayer, so I would get booted pretty regularly due to my low rank. When I DID get to play, I had a lot of fun.

what a shitty trailor. Im so sick of game trailors where they dont show gameplay. its like a trailor for a movie that doesnt show a single scene from the actual movie. makes no sense.

if you're going to say trailer that many times, at least spell it right.
And I agree with you.
Not enough of real game footage was shown.
I'm guessing it was because they haven't perfected the image, and if it was shown too early, people could get the wrong idea
