The picture idea is cool and all, but it would've been nicer if it was done by someone who could actually draw the characters.

I think the artist just drew all the characters to fit the whole "chibi" anime theme, which I hope dies. Soon.

I hope he's just a bad artist. All of the characters look like they were drawn by a mentally challenged 4th grader (on a psychotropic). If this is a "style", then I will pray for fan art everywhere.
Otherwise, 'A' for effort.

katamari prince never appeared in a nintendo console (wich is a shame ... wiimote would be PERFECT for the controls) and they said max of 3 chars from other company ... so probably not =/
BUT there was a smash bros wannabe called called DreamMix Tv World Fighters for gamecube and play2 (japan only) that had Bomberman,Simon Belmont, Snake AND Optimus prime =)

I'm aware of Katamari's lack of Nintendo games and TV World Fighters.
However, that so-called "statement" from Sakurai turned out to be fake that spread across the Net like wildfire. He never said there'd only be three third-party characters.
