Damn right, YAY!

Main thing that kept me from importing were those damn special rules. Like +2 strokes for landing in the sand and such. Now let's hope they keep the somewhat tolerable voices of Open Tee instead of downright annoying of HS Fore.

Hmmm... are you sure about those rules, FidliousWong? The demo I have doesn't have any crazy rules like that.

This is one game where I don't understand the delay. The damn game has been out since this last summer in Japan, so why this big delay to get it to the US? Just slap some English menus in the game and release it. I guess they're messing with the online features?

Anyway, I have the demo from the PSN store and the game is fantastic... but I can only play the demo so many times.

I should specify that I have the demo from the Japanese PSN store.

i never played a golf game on the ps2, apparently i didn't miss much

it's more fun to play golf irl anyway, and games like tiger woods have the exact same mechanics that links created over 10 years ago. bleh. they should do to golf games what skate did to tony hawk

So you just take the Sixaxis and hold it like a golf club to swing, right??

Unless they are adding motion control in... no. The demo I have doesn't have motion controls, although it does have two different control mechanisms you can choose to use.

Hot Shots 4 was a blast. Hopefully 5 lives up to the high standards of the series. I'm not sure I could justify paying $60 for a golf game though.

Bleh. I meant Hot Shots 3 was a blast. I got 4 as a gift but never opened the plastic wrap. I can thank Counter-Strike for that >.< Robbed me of 3 years of my gaming life.

The demo is great, so I have high hopes for the game. This one will also feature online tournaments.
