Ok, sure. The fastest selling console ever is supply constrained because Nintendo is holding back stock, not because they sell as fast as they make them (1.8 million per month worldwide).

Freaking idiots.

I got to the Rockefeller store at 5:30am this wednesaday and was not NEARLY early enough.

I got my Wii in April at the same store by showing up 2 hours early. This one was going to be for my aunt to give to my kid cousins, but I had to tell her it's no dice until after new years.

I HATE that the store moved its opening time an hour earlier for the holiday season. I get it, now more people can come in before going to work, but shit, unless they come in the middle of the night they won't get out of there until well after 9, and meanwhile people like me who show up at 5:30 are only 2.5 hours early instead of 3.5, and b'lieve me it makes a difference. Pardon me, that needed venting.

If you want a shot at getting a Wii at the N. World Store, I'd say don't bother unless you've got a folding chair and can be there by 2am. At this point, even that is probably cutting it close.

Love,
Geoff

This is sooo stupid....

How can people that have known they wanted a Wii forever not been able to get one this past year...

I have 2 Wiis......and purchased 4 for family members over the past year.

It wasn't that difficult to find them.....as I walked in to BEST BUY and GAMESTOP...simply asked..."Do you have a Wii"....

Why do stupid parents wait till the absolute worst time to try and makeup for a poor year of parenting??

I remember lining up in front of the nintendo world store @ 3am last year...it was freezing...I can't believe people still have to do this a year later! Totally worth it though...
