Well, perhaps the song selection will make more sense to you than the headline. Still not content with the initial track list in
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Activision has revealed the contents of the rock 'n rhythmer's next set of downloadable content (but not the price, so no accusing them of pitching a con-tent just yet). Right, on to the content:
The Warner/Reprise Track Pack (master recordings)
Single song downloads (courtesy of "popular European bands")
"Free, exclusive rock rendition" of a holiday classic
- "We Three Kings" by Steve Ouimette
In fitting with
tradition, you can expect the Warner/Reprise/Wrist Slasher Special track pack to cost $6.25 when it appears on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network sometime in December. We'll let you know as soon we've confirmed the prices of the individual songs.

It's not their fault that all you know is what you see on MTV.
But I don't listen to whats popular. I listen to what sounds good, which is why I have music of almost any genre, and many languages.
better luck next time at picking bands/songs that dont blow ass.

9 tattered t-shirts
8 pentagrams
7 leather jackets
6 cans of hairspray
5 skull earrings
4 quarts of Jack
3 studded belts
2 pairs of spandex pants
and a tattoo of Ozzy!

I literally haven't looked at anything from the GHII/III camp of downloads and show any interest at all.

Too bad you've got to buy Linkin Park and The Used to get it.

I can completely understand why Activision won't pass that patch; people won't play GH3 at all.

this is another terrible decision. first GH2 pack comes out with Maylene and we can't buy that alone, plus it's on freaking GH2... then we get Mastodon on GH3 instead of where it should be (Rock Band) and we can't buy it alone?
This is fucking unacceptable.

I want Linkin Park available separately.
Of course, I ended up losing my copy of GH3 recently with no plans to re-buy it, so I'm not missing much.
They have more talent in their left toes than both bands combined.
This is where I love Rock Band's single song approach.
