Ummm...you might want to change the title of the article. One could consider that pretty racist.

Because niggling is an actual word and unrelated to the word you're thinking of.
niggle: petty; trivial; inconsequential.

This is like when people get offended by the word niggard, which means stingy, derived from a middle english word, nigon, which probably has old norse roots.

Whereas the N-word is derived from negro, black in many languages, which derives from the latin niger, also meaning black.

I was at Best Buy the other day and they literally had a mountain of Rock Band boxes and I live in Chicago. So, uh, shortages? I think they're just trying to fuel demand for the game. It's sold out so it MUST be cool kind of thing.

A sense of supply shortage is just because of a poor launch DAY combined with press releases based on Hamronix' wishful thinking.

I see copies all the time.

I'm wondering why it's such a pain in the ass to play someone online period. First you have to all know what instruments you are going to choose first, because if you guess the wrong one, you have to log out, and then change controllers, get the controller on the right quadrant, etc. Then if you want to change instruments, start the whole process over.

I have not figured out how to just switch from guitar to drums for example in a streamlined way. I usually have to back completely out of the game. I swear I've tried just swapping into the same usb port and that didn't work.

Does anyone have suggestions for the easiest way to swap instruments online?

How 'bout they let you disable the "Communicating with Central Rock Server" BS. F'ing annoying. I just want to play the game, not look at the drummer animation for a minute after every song.

In addition to the controversial title, I love how the picture is of the white lead singer appearing to yell at the black drummer through the microphone.

When I read the title of the article, I first thought of the N-word too, but I wouldn't go as far as calling the title racist. Stepping in the gray area? Maybe. Bad taste? Eh, at this point you're looking into it too much.

Besides, I know half of you laughed at it anyway.

Now if only he explained why they haven't said one word about the full-album DLC since about 2 months before the game's release.

I swear, they're just going to let this go the way of all those "genre-oriented expansion packs" they promised after GH2.

That's right, Harmonix, just stop mentioning it and hope everyone forgets...

All I want is an updated DLC list.

After My Iron Lung, Buddy Holly and the Pretenders song tomorrow, we know nothing.

Do I save my points for better stuff? Do I splurge it now? I need to know! I mean, I'm already planning on spending 15 bucks on Christmas Day!

Just force em in there.

Both the plastic and the metal parts should flex far enough for the slight clearance issue a swollen battery would cause.

I, for one, am kind of tired of big names.

(...Excuse me for wanting Relationship of Command by At the Drive-in. I know I'm not the only one who thinks those songs would be a lot of fun.)

This is only the 20th time that the word niggle has been used on Joystiq. Can't imagine why people would give up trying to claim it's racist. No sir, no reason to stop fighting the dumb fight.

I just want them to fix the guitars. I am one of the few it seems that likes the ROck band guitar better than the Les Paul as far as how it feels and the fact the strum bar makes no noise. however, considering the fact my replacement guitar from EA overdrive doesn't work, its fret buttons are louder than the strum on the les paul (my original one was fine) and it still misses notes at times is rediculous.

I'll be ordering another one probably tomorrow. And will continue to order a new one until it gets fixed.

With all the stock on the shelves at various stores, how about fixing the guitar problems first, then putting more units out there. Seems you waste a lot of money sending guitars 2 day air, return shipping, when if you make them right the first time, you save.
