Other than the (still over played) Faith No More 'Epic', the only thing on that list that catches my eye is the song featuring Dicky Barrett. Ska/Punk for the win.
Here's hoping for custom soundtracks. Then it will be ska/punk and glam rock non-stop.

With the exception of maybe Desmond Dekker or Operation Ivy, ska is pretty much the worst genre of music out there. Well, next to whatever EA Trax comes up with.

It's bad enough BURNOUT DOMINATOR had it in their EA Trax listing repeatedly with different lingual versions(Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, & English)of the song... And now it's back again, irritatingly so. :\

I completely agree (above), yet I'd prefer to get an interesting soundtrack with the game over listening to the stuff I allready listen to on the train, at work, in the car, playing XBLA, etc...

Maybe for games like this, but games like Halo 3, Half-Life 2, RPGs, etc., need their own soundtrack.

This is news because: 1. Criterion previously said they were unable to get G n' R's permission to use "Paradise City," and 2. The Soundtrack is actually decent, especially considering how crappy EA Trax can be. But this list isn't too bad (plus Airbourne really deserves some US exposure, best Aussie rock since Jet).

Wow, I haven't seen this much crappy music in one place since the last Burnout game. Ok so they have Alice in Chains, Killswitch, Depeche Mode, and classical music. The rest of that soundtrack is already hurting me. At least they only have 1 version of Girlfriend listed. I'd take comfort in the idea of using my own music but I seriously doubt EA programmed in game control of the console's music library.
