Peggle (finally) coming to Mac

Identical to the PC-version, Peggle Deluxe on Mac features 55 levels of Pachinko-inspired, ball-bouncing, peg-busting mayhem. Unlike recent Mac ports like Guitar Hero III and GameTap, the release is Universal Binary, meaning it's compatible with Intel Macs, as well as older Power PC Macs.
Also releasing today for the Mac is Popcap's classic puzzle game Chuzzle, a match-three casual title originally released in 2005. Now all we need is Bookworm Adventures on the Mac and we'll be set for life.

That's exactly what I was thinking. He looks freaky

God I love Peggle.
On PC, is there a way to adjust the resolution? That's the only thing that isn't perfect about it.
Einhanderkiller @ Dec 18th 2007 6:43PM
I believe Peggle uses raster graphics, so bumping up the resolution wouldn't really do much.

and still no game support for the iPod touch.
Good thing it only has half the features of the iphone, and only half the features of other ipods.

Apple's thinking:
1/2 product + 1/2 product = 1 full product!
gherin @ Dec 18th 2007 6:28PM
They actually haven't even released the touch/iphone sdk to any developers, so don't expect games for awhile.

It's worth noting that everything at PopCap is 50% off until January 3rd.

If ever there was a minigame collection I would actually enjoy seeing on the Wii, it would be a popcap collection, especially Bookworm and Peggle.
James @ Dec 18th 2007 6:43PM
Just bought it for my iPod. Now I buy for my many Macs.
Love Peggle.

Why is the GMan playing Peggle? Is he in the CounterStrike cs_office level? What is Valve's relationship with PopCap games that causes PopCap to make a Half-Life inspired Peggle version for the Orange Box?
These questions and more answered in Half-Life 3.

Peggle SOURCE!
brandon_r87 @ Dec 18th 2007 8:27PM
Actually, I should have stated that I am actually looking for the answers to those questions. Also, what is the source of that picture? Is it fan art, or something more?
gonk @ Dec 18th 2007 10:40PM
it must've been made with garry's mod, it had tons of things you could do with faces
Geist @ Dec 19th 2007 3:04PM
SPOILER: Popcap controls the Combine.
scooterbaga @ Dec 18th 2007 8:16PM
Now they just need to bring Insaniquarium over to OSX...
For god's sake please! Like the only game ever to not make it over...
brandon_r87 @ Dec 18th 2007 8:29PM
Isn't that a flash game? I'm pretty sure there is a flash version you should check into. Haven't played the game otherwise, so I don't know if it is missing features from the real game.
scooterbaga @ Dec 18th 2007 8:42PM
Ya, but so far they never seem quite the same. Cheap rip-offs all of them!
