yeah, if its like crackdown, that would be perfect. Crackdown co op was really cool. I like that game!! Cant wait for Halo 4 so I can play the Crackdown 2 beta!!

I'm sorry, but no game should give a player the option of taking a "hostage". I'm getting tired of defending games when the industry comes up with tripe like this.

you sound like a sad old grandma who doesnt know what shes talking about. Games should let you do whatever they want and ESPECIALLY things you cant, or wouldnt do in real life. The media is gonna cry regardless, if its not about taking hostages or flying into buildings itll be about car jacking or shooting someone with a shotgun in the middle of the street.
its fantasy, its entertainment, and GAMES should not have to deal with limitations cause theyre games.

I loved the first Saint's Row, the only videogame so gangsta that the thugs banged purple. I hope it has some kind of live vision camera support , so we can add our likenesses to the game. I wonder if it or GTA4 will come out first?

i loved the first game too. it was better than any gta game so far and they did that without using boats, planes, motorcycles, ect. the 2nd is going to raise the bar to games like gta. but the fist IS A FUCKING CLASSIC. i cant wait for the second one.

Saints Row 2 for the win over GTA4. I thought that SR actually brought innovation to the genre. While there have been tons of GTA clones, only one was worthy of being known as a competitor for GTA's crown... and you are looking at it's sequel.

I loved Saints Rows sense of humor and I hope they keep that in the sequel. GTA got a little too dark for me to stay entertained by it. I'm a little concerned about the larger map though, I loved the map size in SR, it never got TOO boring trying to drive across the entire city.

I loved saints row, and that coming from some1 who hated gta 3 + VC and SA. This already sounds soo much better then gta 4. Im surprised saints row is not more popular then it is over gta.
This will certainly blow GTA 4 out of the water. Lets hope the multiplayer mode is back too, with much improvments. The only bad thing I can see about this game is its coming out on the ps3 and xbox 360. This could throw some development off because now theres another platform to worry about.

All my friends I LIVE with and we want local co-op! And no we're not going to buy multiple 360's for one house just to play co-op

Ok honestly I dont give a crap about ONLINE co-op...and it gets annoying wen all games mostly only hav co-op online instead of local 2-player
I think all 2 player games should hav the local co-op as a basic, not all people have xbox live. So I hope Saints Row 2 will be playable for 2-players on the same console and will be able to play the main campaigne game.....other than that, hell i cant wait for SR2!! :)
