I want this game really bad too. I ordered the Japanese version from NCSX, but it's an backorder, so I may not get it until after Christmas.

I assume you guys are waiting for the US release?

I hate the fact that everyone else can be so excited about this game while I can't get over how much I don't care for the art style. I want to like the game! But it's so ugly!

I might get this game for the styling and narrative but the actual gameplay looks bland.

I LOVE the art style of this game, that's almost the best part. It's so unique and stylish and ARTISTIC that it seems a shame to come down on it for not looking like everything else. This game looks INCREDIBLE, I just scoped out the trailer and I have to say it is the pimp stuff indeed. February can't get here fast enough. Funny that the people who made this video don't seem to know the release date.

The game would be SO much better if there wasn't THAT much blood. Why do a thousand litres of blood have to fly towards the screen when somebody's killed? It doesn't make the game look better, nor more fun.

Too much blood? It's just their style. You can just get the European version... the whole ash-thing still looks cool.

For me, I squeam in terror when I see blood (virtual blood, not so much), I just ignore it and play it for the heck of it. (though, there's not much over-the-top bloody games out there)

As for this game? Looks fun. I had my doubts in the first trailers they gave when they first announced it, but it's definitely looking a lot smoother than it did before. And that was enough to convince me to rocket this choice up to the top 5 need-to-buy Wii games for me.

Have you ever seen a bloodspray film out of Japan? Ichi the Killer is a classic example of blood spraying everywhere when it isn't realistic. It's an artistic form of expression whether it be in a video game or a film.

However I do agree with Steve M. about how it looks. I think it'll be a great game, but it looks like Sega 32x Virtua Fighter or something. I'll look past that, but it'll take me a couple times to not be thrown off by it.

Ya as those guys said, it is just a style they do. But I think it is awesome just because there aren't that many bloody games (may I need to mention Man Hunt 2's controversy?). The Wii is directed to all ages, which includes the blood lusting nerds out there. I think Wii gamers need a break from the usual cutesy, mini game, E rated games.

I don't understand why everybody is so psyched about this game... It doesn't look like anything special. I'll just have to wait for the rental to find out. I guess if I go in to it thinking it's as average as I think it'll be, I'll like it more than if I had I gone in thinking it's going to be great. We'll just have to wait and see.

All you guys suck. This game looks great i would say 9out of10 great. It's style rocks and the gameplay looks hella fun. There is nothing better then beat'im up/Slash'im up when it comes to this type of story. But then again you guys probly want guns or something stupid like that.

I didn't want this game at all what so ever, until I saw this video. Now this game looks like it will be one of the best games of 2008 (although we don't know everything yet). Although I thought some of the fights looked a little bad, like animation wise, I thought the moves and stuff were cool. I also like the idea of meager jobs, which are like a lot of mini games, which are always fun. And I was really surprised to see how much you could customized your character. Also like how you can find clothes lying in dumpsters. Doesn't make since, but make a cool addition to getting some more clothes just while playing the game. Hopefully there will be t-shirts that you can only get out of dumpsters, but make those ones harder to find. I will without a doubt rent this, and if I like it like I think I will, I will buy it.

Wow, I'm quite intrigued now. Looks pretty fun. Didn't know it was so GTA-y.

Wow. I, like Patrick, didn't really have any particular interest in the game. I wanted to like it and hoped it would be good, but didn't understand quite understand all the praise you guys were giving it. Then, I saw this video and I see that it looks amazing. I can't wait for it now. It's a shame it did poorly in Japan, though.

I don't have a Wii... yet, but I'm still buying this. Why? Because Killer 7 rocked on so many levels, I KNOW this will. Enough said.
