The downfall of using real money for your online store is that it uses real money. There is not currently a system in place to exchange currency and buy things from other regions.

On the bright side, I'll just be able to press the purchase button and have the $7.99 charged to my card. That's it; no points-purcahses, no minimum amount restrictions and no entering anything... though that doesn't make Beano feel any better.

@Trev: There is a minimum amount restriction, it's just less than you'll be paying. If you already had $6 in your wallet and only wanted to add 2, you'd run into minimum amount problems.

@gonk: Sure, but Warhawk is bound to my EU PSN account so I can't start the game (and access the in-game store) from a US account.

I'll just wait till tommorrow ;)

For the love of all things worth loving, would they please update the control scheme while they're releasing these expansions. Right Stick for throttle would be a welcome addition. Better yet, let the play fully customize their own controls.

I will downloading the expansion at lunch time, while I'm eating a Monte Cristo dipped in honey!

Oh man... I love Monte Cristo sandwiches! Sadly, there are no places that sell them here.

He's saying he got owned when he tried out warhawk. I think it's just like any other FPS game, if you're new, you get hosed over and over and over until you get better. Yes yes, it's not really an FPS. Whatever. You run you shoot, it's FPS regardless of the actual viewpoint.

I don't know, I thought the entry wounds on Warhawk are a tad more forgiving.... unless you jump direction into the warhawks. We introduced a friend of ours to it last month and while he initially sucked, he was still hooked enough to get to a fairly level playing field. Once you learn the weaponry, it's a blast and fairly balanced. I still enjoy joining servers and just knifing people. Half the people will put away their weapons to have a knife fight. Other half just try to gun you down. It's a fun thing when you're running a 16 player server, you're only using the knife, and still manage to make it into the top three.

I gotta say this... DAMN THEM!
I was up late last night finishing Assassin's Creed (as in 3am... I get up at 6). Tonight, I gotta finish a song revision and finish some christmas gifts. I don't have time to hawk tonight. But I'm very tempted.

Why is joystiq taking it so seriously for the people who scored it for free, they are just lucky. Do you expect them to pay for it now??

Is that being called an Indian giver??? I dont think Sony works that way.....maybe EA, lol

Sweet! Usually the "unshakable stench of shame" costs $200 - $400. Those people got lucky last night and don't even have any strange rashes. Congrats!
