When it launched on the PC late last year, the reviews were all over the map. But it's been a year since then and we look forward to seeing how it has grown in the intervening 14 months. What's more, the demo features both single and multiplayer campaigns. Give it a spin and let us know what you think in the comments below.

The combat is fantastic, but the inventory and the lack of an open world restricted it's replayability.
I yearn for Oblivion with DMoM&M's combat system.

i played it on PC and in my opinion I believe it was a great game. The graphics were great. I might go for it, if all the glitches that plagued the PC version are gone.
PS: Cool Story.

I had hoped it'd be more like a medieval Deus Ex with physics. But it wasn't at all bad.
Multiplayer was a waste of resources though...

The multiplayer was pretty laggy and felt shoehorned. What fun is it if your opponents have abilities that freeze you in your tracks... from a distance while they close on you and hack up your body.
But the core single player game feels pretty sold and combat is satisfying at the same or better level as Oblivion. Exploration? Not quite as much at this point.

Gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme.
I liked Dark messiah because it remind me of Hexxen and Heretic which are ones of my favorites of all time but this one reminds me of Oblivion which is even cooler but is just me or the mage powers look like the plasmids of Bioshock?
I’m looking forward to this game, now that the only thing concerns me is Ubisoft because since I bought Assassin’s creed I lost faith on them so I better keep my expectative down.

Got it off of steam almost a year ago and finished it. Great game. If you have already played bioshock, then the gameplay in this game will be easy for you. NOw you have a sword instead of a gun and magic instead of plasmids. You may even think after playing this that bioshock ripped off the whole gameplay element. See for yourself.

Anyone realize that this is basically a rip off of the LOTR story? The main character's name is probably "Flodo".
