Swearing is not that bad. Your mom's expectations are unrealistic and not to mention controlling.

That's because 80% of my family is full of crazy elitists. At least she's not like my grandma, which is by far, the most negative thinking, most crazy christian I have ever seen in my life and have to stand everything she rants about what I do, but still, that way of thinking of hers is steadily making me want to leave the house.

I almost lose my permission to play GH because she thought LtR's vocals were satanic. I thank God she hasn't heard of Raining Blood, or she would've immediately kicked me out of the house for sure.

Wow, once again proving people who support Ron Paul are NUTS.

I mean, he doesn't even stand a chance. The only thing he could do is take enough of his crazies, go to be the Independent candidate and pull enough votes away from a real Conservative and give the democrat a free win. Thats all he could possibly do.
Which I hope he doesn't.

All in all I found the video terribly boring. Nothing really funny in there, just a guy being a jerk.

The $6M+ raised in one day from American citizens, not corporations, proves that Ron Paul has something going. When was the last time you saw a politician with that sort of grassroots following? Not for a long time.

LOL.

I mean, LOL.

A "real conservative" ?

LOL.

There is no Republican/Independent presidential candidate (or in Congress for that matter) that is more conservative than Ron Paul.

what's wrong with socialism anyway? it seems to be working ok for canada and most of europe. our government is already halfway there anyway, we just need to stop throwing money away into iraq and our financial problems would stop mounting

Yes. Both people on the democrat party are basically socialists. We could survive Obama but I think Hillary would destroy the country.

Ron Paul is libertarian. Clinton is so close to being communist it's not funny.

And Bush should have convinced Cheney to resign when he got sick.

When was the last time you saw a real candidate trying to fix f'ed up America? Everyone from another country on the Internet constantly mocks us for the p.o.s. the U.S. is in with Health Care System (ours sucks), the oil war (completely unnecessary), the spying on U.S. citizens w/o warrants (4th Amendment FTL), secret prisons w/o due process for prisoners, torture (doesn't work, yet we still do it). Hell, most or all of that stuff could have been fixed with the current administration had they not rigged Florida. This country desperately needs a change, and Ron Paul can bring it. I like Kucinich better, but he has even a less of a chance of winning. No other candidates have balls (Hilary?). Its not really Ron Paul's fault the mainstream media (Fox/CNN) distorts news, then chooses which candidates will essentially get elected. Corporate America owns us right now. Ron Paul can help give America back to The People.
BTW, voters generally from both sides vote would/will vote for Ron Paul (I'm generally a democrat).
/end wrongs of america rant

That video was hilarious. But I feel those guys would be really pissed. I usually get mad when someone tk's (CS 1.6), but that's pretty extreme. Gotta try it when I get TF2:P (JK)

Please, no more republicans of any ilk. Its democrats turn at the wheel anyway.

And Hillary is not bad. And there is nothing really wrong with socialism - some of the richest people in the world live in very socialist countries like Sweden.

Let me save you guys the problem of debating what the problem is with America. The biggest problem is that we really don't have the resolve to solve any of our problems. Life is okay, so we don't fuck with it. Our founding fathers would be ashamed of how we handle shit. All we do is take half-measures which benefit NO ONE. Case in point: DDT. It was decimating the mosquito population and making malaria a thing of the past but it was also killing birds so we stopped using it. Malaria came back into third world countries in a big way so in the last, oh, 30 years, we have 5,000,000 deaths caused by, you guessed it, malaria. Bravo!
We also fight wars like idiots, fuck you can't even call them 'wars' anymore. In a war you go in and kill people until people stop fucking with you. We've been using the Vietnam formula for the past 40 years and it has never worked. Not once. You want to stop immigration? Start executing people that illegally cross your borders. Otherwise just start granting people clemency (I'm actually for clemency), because doing things in this half-assed way doesn't solve shit. What about the war on drugs? We ever gonna win that? No. The thing is, you can't make everybody happy, and you shouldn't try. Make the best decision for the majority of people and live with the consequences.

The teleporter griefing, trivia, and pledging to vote Ron Paul are all alright, because they're clever and have a purpose other than just griefing to bother people.

I don't understand why Joystiq is supporting this horrible online behavior by posting this video people pissing others off due to anonymity and lack of consequences yet they throw a hissy bitch fit when Turok devs come up with an original achievement idea involving team killing.
Lame.

I don't know what that Turok thing is about, but this style of griefing is so well thought out that it deserves to have a video feature-it has to be one of the most entertaining things I've seen in a while. The idea of turning the game into a trivia show is absolute comedy gold. Any of those people could have left the server to play somewhere else, but they sat there and made fools of themselves - hilarious!

I found it hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. Even if it was happening to me, which it has, I'd still be laughing.

Look, if you're going to take every little stat in an online game seriously, go play something else. TF2 by it's very nature is playful and funny.
