It's sort of like the perennial Rubik's Cube gag. You see some guy fiddling with the famous puzzle toy, saying something like "these things are impossible; nobody could solve this." At that moment, a plucky young tyke will come along, pick up the toy, and solve it within seconds. Now apply said gag to Guitar Hero III and the song "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce ... on Expert. Watch the video above and see 9-year-old Ben crush every ounce of Guitar Hero pride you ever had. Gasp in terror as the boy even has enough time to glance away from the screen in order to smile at the camera. In the end, he winds up landing 95% of the notes and earning a score of over 750,000 points.
Now, if you'll excuse us, we're going to weep softly in the corner for a few hours.
its a youtube video.... the sound never matches the vid 100%... This is the DEAD! kid from GH2... Same retarded wavy kid... But that is definitly full expert...
his parents should definitely hand him a real guitar, so he can develop some real talent. this game was made for twenty-somethings like me who will never learn to play guitar and just want to jam out with slash. little kids have so much more ability. what a waste!
It is worse than that even... At some point, one of the galaxies in the near by cluster is gonna go active and destroy our galaxy with a death ray. For all we know, the kill shot could already be on the way.
I think that he actually plays the real guitar as evidenced by the guitar that was next to the TV in one of the videos...either that or on of his parents plays which makes it plausible that he's good given that they have the music gene...
to all you people who are saying stuff like: "let him do something worthwhile" and the like...look at the expression on the kids face and the tone of his voice when he gets that achievement.
I want to believe this is legitimate, but how is the kid activating star power? He doesn't tilt the guitar (as far as I can see), but star power automatically activates. Is there some other method to activate star power that I don't know about? If not, then I call shenanigans.
You can activate the star power by pressing the back button. It's right above the whammy bar. I'm sure it's an easier method than tilting the guitar sideways during something that intense.
Why do they make expert so effing hard that only 10 year old kids can play it?.... oh wait.... wtf?
I'm still convinced they need to dumb down the difficulty so that NORMAL people can potentially play through the entire game on all difficulties as opposed to having to just stop after getting to the last destination on hard because you no longer care enough to overcome failing a song. And expert isn't even an option.
oh not this kid again... back in my day all i had was 2-d mario not this. im sure hes gonna get alot of ladies (ha he looks like a troll)when he gets older cause of this. i bet he can't play a lick of real guitar either, and if he wants to get the ladies ever he has to stop wasting his young life on this. and his parents/whoever is taking these videos makes him slave to play the game. wow what a way to show off your son, your family comes over for the holidays, and they aren't impressed... where is your God now?
Why does everyone keep saying "play a real instrument"? Guess what?! He's taking guitar lessons, entirely because he became interested in the guitar from playing Guitar Hero.
Too all of you crying about how good this kid is hes, not, I am calling this video a fake, at the begining he doesnt even strum, and at times during the video he is only hitting hte bottom three buttons when there are green and red buttons being hit on the screen. You can say what you all want about me, but I am calling this video a fake.
Why does it sound like someone is playing rock band drums. Is that possible? Would it help? How much time would it take an adult to master the same song? and why does my wifes cat sleep under my computer desk and snore? I didnt even know cats snored.
It's really disgusting how people are reacting to this kid. Not here, but where the video is originally hosted. For every nice comment there seems to be like three comments from assholes. How is anyone calling a 9 year old kid a "homo" or telling him to get a life while likely spending exorbitant amounts of time online? These posts always make me feel bad for humanity, it seems like every video site is full of people like that lol.
