I was always curious what country created the best lovers. I've been ordering wives from all over the planet and all they can really do so far is cry in corners while I turn the hose on them. So c'mon, Joystiq, where should I shop next?

Silly Podcast... everyone knows German's are the worst lovers. They can't feel love. They just chant the world with random adjectives during their trance music.

I do have to say... I'm kinda hopeful I can collect comments from all three in one comment thread.

With you on the ridiculous difficulty of CoD4 on Veteran, Chris. I had to put it down the AI was so cheap. And, I realize I could just restart on a lower difficulty, but I got through so much and I don't feel like restarting.

Nobody should play their first playthrough on veteran, it ruins the cinematic experience, and the game as a whole. It's a nice challenge, but certainly not the way the game was meant to be played.

Apply common disclaimer that Joystiq is not responsible for the complete destruction of any playable devices especially modded toasters capable of playing Doom.

I think there's another disclaimer about people who have Zune's being responsible for any and all problems in their life, whether or not it's Zune-related.

So if you don't like a Zune, you're obviously an iPod fanboy joining a regime? You know... that's the dumbest shit I've read on here today. And considering I had to wade through some Fernando and Noshino quotes... that says something.

Here's an idea. Maybe some people have MP3 players NOT locked down with DRMs. Like my Philips Jukebox. Bought it for $50, dramatically below any other systems cost of admission. 8GB, built in FM tuner, and the undeniably huge advantage of drag and drop music tranfering. No syncing, no updating, no middlewar programs, none of that bullshit. Music folder, drop in music, and it works.

But hey, you guys like your status of the more expensive players. I'm sure they'll get you chicks one day. I'm happy with my philips at a fraction of the cost, better battery life, and the disgusted looks I get when I pass by the apple store.

I'm totally tobias in this regard – i worked on Windows computers for years, did IT work in college, and at some point I realized I was in an abusive relationship that I could leave at any point. Microsoft had to work very hard to get me to believe in the Xbox 360, and they've got to work a lot harder before the Zune gets the same respect.

Once again I charge forth....

My Philips Jukebox reads like a portable drive on Mac and PC. So no matter your pleasure, the drag and drop functionality works.

Except you have to remember the commands to actually copy files instead of just creating shortcuts.... gah, was I soooooooo glad to be done with macs after college. Of course college lab macs are not indicative of macs as a whole, but the constant locking, chewing of my zip disc, and other issues drove me from that cross section long ago. In fact, everytime I see a mac, I remember how much time I lost in their labs trying to finalize projects before deadlines just to watch them lock.

I'm with Sheppy on this one. I rock an iRiver H320 that I've had for 5 years. it's like a portable hard drive and I can just throw songs on it really quickly. Whenever I try to work with an iPod for family I simply can not understand why everything has to be so complicated.

Not bizzare to play old games. What's bizzare is people's fixation on NEW games and their ignorance of the greatness of older games... not even "classic" games. Just games that are two or three years old.

You guys know you don't need to reset the system to change what number the controllers are don't you.... if your in a game just hit the PS button and assign the controller, not hard.

Yeah, Donald is correct. I understand the PS3 has a simpler solution for this, but the 360 can be a real chore sometimes. I'm not sure if I'm the only person who has this issue: controllers that refuse to forget their input assignment.

I meant AOL/TimeWarner, which has a market cap of 60.18B (http://tinyurl.com/2z2k4f) versus News Corp's market cap of 21B (http://tinyurl.com/ys6kkz). I'm not sure if that figure for News Corp is accurate, since I'm seeing it much higher elsewhere but; regardless, I'm not insane enough to claim that AOL is as large as News Corp or even Fox Entertainment Group for that matter, if that's what you were asking. ;)

Once again an absolutely fabulous podcast from the Joystiq team.

I think the best thing about the Joystiq podcast is that while the formula may be the same as many - a couple of dudes sitting around BS-ing about video games and other sundries - it manages to be humorous and entertaining every time without coming off as douchey at all. That's more than the Steam podcast can say, to be sure.

Those guys are Douche Bag Royales.

So thanks again, for another hour of good listening!

Hey guys.. just wanted you to know theres a definite issue with this podcast and the zune.

Zune sticks at 00:00, then locks and needs a reset to start back up. Only occurs with THIS podcast, and it's happened to myself, and a friend of mine on seperate zunes both updated fully to the latest firmware. Plus the guy who commented earlier had the same issue.

Just a FYI. Thanks for the great podcast!

I'm right on the same page with Ludwig's hangover comment before the other Joystiq-ers embellished.
After an all-night game bender with very little blinking or consumption of any food/drink I actually wake up with a headache (prob dehydration) as well as having the sunshine be painfully bright and getting a little winded during everyday tasks... "gaming hangover" my wife calls it.
