As is the case with the upcoming, expansively titled Street Fighter II remake, emotions tend to run high before Capcom's latest franchise additions are seen in motion. If the knowledge drip-feed springing from the Street Fighter I.V. has you in a daze and unable to focus on other things in life, you'd best glance past the break to see footage of the game in action, courtesy of the 1UP Show. You mean because of how bad GameVideos is? I've completely stopped even attempting to play with their crappy videos (like how I ditched Real a while ago and haven't looked back). Why do people perpetuate crappy video services when there are so many alternatives?

i just finished watching that before i headed here to joystiq..and wow...that game looks horrible..the art direction is a joke. i pray this isnt coming out anytime soon, it needs another good yr or 2 in development.

everything looks to "immature" for me...the bright nintendo-esque colors...the simple 3-d models..and the bulkiness of the bodies just screams NFL blitz while the teaser video had great okami-like art direction and style...the criticisms in the video are all valid and i hope capcom addresses them.

theres nothing wrong with vibrant color palettes...but not standard kindergarten primary colors. the colors have no depth, no value range..its just..bright. which imo looks really lame and flat.

I really like the look... the colours have a cool washed out feel to them, and the character design goes back to old style anime like Fist of the North star.

I'd take this semi-cell-shaded, original look over another plasticky looking 3d game like DOA4 anytime.

It's not bad. GGXX looks very cartoony and it's one of the most popular 2D fighters (and the only major one that's still patched to this day).

Just watched it and I thought it was awesome. The only thing I didn't like about it is the bulky character design.

But the implemented facial expressions was nice, the speed looked good (although they did say that they sped up the gameplay a bit), and most importantly, the animations looked great (visual effects mostly) and very fluid.

I'm looking forward to this fast-paced game with nice colorful presentation.

PS: @Zootittles. Impressions are important because gameplay footage may give us an idea about how a game plays, but it doesn't give us information about how it controls and feels.

The wait was painfully slow.

Now I like the style it looks kind like a Manga or something so I really like the art direction.Now what I want to know is how many stages and fighters are there going to be in this game because I don't feel like buying a game with the lenght of the original Street fighter 2 at least not now.

Oh yeah and there seems to be nothing new in Gametrailers about SF4 but there is a new video of those asshats of screwattack.I hope those guys die in a fire.
