Wii Warm Up: Your dream mod

This Clerks Wii case mod from serial modder Ramon Stokes came straight out of left field, and its sheer randomness delighted us, even though the Metroid Wii above (also by the same chap) remains this blogger's all-time favorite. Alas, yours truly lacks Ramon's mad skillz (Pritt Stick remains a considerable challenge), meaning I'm limited to daydreaming about how my awesome Pilotwings Wii case mod would look. Reader, in my head, it is majestic.

What about you lot, though? If you could modify your Wii's tidy, white exterior in any way you liked, regardless of cost or a lack of talent, how would you want it to look?

First Idea:A manga/anime style mod, with like full metal alchemist, Naruto, Inyuasha, and Bleach characters all over the wii case. And the controlors would have like all the Naruto symbold on the sides.

Second Idea:A kingdom hearts styled mod. With all the keyblades on one side of the wii, and all the characters on the other side. on the wiimote it would have the keyblade on the side and the nunchuck would have the heartless/nobody symbol on it.

I would make it inside a LIGHTNING STOOOORM. But the Wii would be encased in FIRE to protect from the LIIIIGHTNING STOOOOORM. To put in a game disc you would have to drop-kick it so hard that it moves past the fire and lightning unharmed. The fire would be flavored like chocolate raspberries so you could eat some delicious stuff while you put in a game disc. It would also have electric guitars on it.

I want something so I could throw the disk like a frizbee into the slot and it'll go in.

I'd probably devote it to a 4chan meme like mudkips or pedobear.

Imagine, on the side, they joy of reading "so i hear u liek mudkips?"

I'd cover it in hardcore rock n' roll art and guitars and stuff like
that in tribute to classic rock. Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Rolling
Stones, and Queen symbols would be all over it. Along with just a few game characters or their symbols. Remote/nunchuck would be shiny jet black with some flames on the edges along with maybe a snake/lizard or two. I would hack into the programming and make the wii compatible w/ DVDs and audio CDs if I could.

I would also put in a hardrive with lots of memory. I would make it so Message Board photos can be saved onto the SD card. I would put in a better graphics card. I'd replace the nunchuck's analog stick with the Gamecube controller's. I would make the classic controller compatible with Gamecube games. If possible, I would make the Message Board accessible from the Home Menu. This all would probably cost tons of time and money (along with the fact that I don't know how to do most of this stuff), but it probably would sell for thousands on eBay.

I would put multiple Sonic the Hedgehog stuff around it, and have the nunchuk painted so it looks like his shoe...

OR...

I would pu rabbid ears on top of it, then, I would hae the Rayman Raving Rabbids symbol on the side of the Wii, and the controllers will have pictures of the rabbids running around! (well, the Wii remote jacket would)

This may not count but I'd mod it so that the slot light could be turned on and off at will (or anytime it was playing a game.) possibly changing colour (maybe a cylon red....). I'd also like an internal gamecube 1019 card and internal wavebird receivers.

All that CAN be done.

Mine would be themed with Bone thugs-n-harmony. All black. One side would have the Creepin on ah come up (their first album) Skull on it the other side would have 4 little figurines of them with Flesh and Eazy painted above them (flesh behind a prison door and Eazy on a cloud) Then it would have the controllers say Art of War, Eternal, SNL, and Ressurection.

Mine would have an updated version of Flash, and a add-on hard drive... :)

So it would be in a world where Adobe had released the Flash SDK for their updated versions to a wider array of companies, which hopefully isn't ridiculous and will happen soon. Opera and Nintendo will assuredly come with a new version at that point. Which I admit is annoying. And hopefully if they don't want to make a Wii official harddrive they might just have a Wii System Update that will allow them to detect standard USB external hard drives. That would immediately solve the problem for so many. But I bet their will be a Nintendo Hard Drive before too long.

Humm, I can use the latest version of Flash with the version of Opera i'm using right now. Yes, Adobe stinks, but come on... how long has it been?

I would turn it horizontal and make it look like a parking garage.
The catch? It could hold up to 50 of my wii games and change them at will... :D

I'd make it like a PS3 and piss off both parties. Hahahahaha~ erm, nevermind.

I'd just like mine hooked up with all the greatest gizmos and gadgets and doo-dats... As much as I love looks, I don't depend on them...
But I do love gadgets and gizmos...

I like it the way it is now, But I wouldn't mine if it had a 50's/60's Space age look like the back of a shiny blue Chevy crossed with the Sputnik.. Chrome/Enamel and all.. HA!

I think that this guy is the sole reason for the worldwide Wii stock shortages LOL

It'd look pretty cool with a Western Fronteir logo on the side, maybe Xylvania on the other.

Or a space scene viewed from the surface of Zebes with Samus looking up and aiming her arm cannon at the awesomest rendition of Ridley ever which starts out painted on the side but then transitions into a full 3D figer standing on top.

Ramon Stokes, if you're readng this, consider some of these ideas.

Elite Beat Agents: Black Wii with Agent J on the side, orange stand, and Wiimotes decorated with hit markers.

I'd probably go with a Yoshi-like Wii.....

with a bigger hard drive for sure

Heh, I think it would be pretty funny to mod a Wii to look like two Gamecubes duct-taped together. =)

But I'd probably go with some sort of X-Men related mod... Wolverine vs Sabertooth one one side? Or Cyclops vs Sinister... hmm, more thought needed.

I like your first idea better. :)

Metallic black with an ornate raised crucifix on the side, red disk slot light, Castlevania characters drawn in silver on the other side. Also bats. I don't know where, just...bats.

Alternative idea: Majora's mask mod. on the stand: All the different masked versions of link on the right side. marcing in the order: deku, zora, goron with human Link leading.
the case, green with majora's mask raised Backlit.
The Wiimote, silver with a triforce, the nunchuck emblazoned with the Hyrule coat of arms.

Also there should be text on one side of the console detailing the legend of the mask of Majora.
