WRUP: New Year's Edition

On account of lingering holiday madness, we skipped the most recent Friday for What Are You Playing in favor of a special New Year's Edition. So, without belaboring the point, do you have any special New Year's Eve gaming plans? With all the parties destined to happen tonight, we can imagine that Rock Band and Guitar Hero III will be making more than one appearance. Whatever you find yourself doing this evening, remember to have a good time and stay safe.

I tried joining a match and it said you must have an active internet connection to play...as I was checking my friends list and seeing what they were playing *rolls eyes* haha

Tonight? I already had mine. I am now in recovery from a dozen beers, a bottle of wine and a bottle of sake along with 2 cuban cigars and chilling out playing Halo with my third.

actually a friend is going to have Scene It for the 360 at their New Years party tonight.

I'll be playin Rock Band with my brother and also Halo 3 from midnight till sunrise! Maybe a little COD 4 in between. Xbox Live is totally fixed for me, so i'm a happy camper. Happy '08!

Im playing mass effect. I never do anything for new years :(. I plan to make changes tho starting tomorrow in my lifestyle. I hope to stick with them for at least 1 week before I give up :p

Crying myself to sleep.

I'm chilling at hope with some good friends coming over.....with a "friend" of mine having a party at his house I found out like ten minutes ago. Yeah, great friend, says he'll come here then hosts a party, dodging my calls until I call someone there who was planning to come here. Hooray for fizzled parties! *downs rum'n coke after....around eight jagerbombs, fun stuff!*

Live is so fucked up so i'll be playing Half Life (yes the original, i'm tryiin to catch up so i can play Orange Box)

i will play rock band but i have to send in my guitar cuz the headset port doesnt work and i have the new headset that comes with messenger kit so i should be able to just plug it in and talk but noooooooo, lets ruin matts day. And i tried with the adapter but that doesnt work either

Been playing Mass Effect each night for 8-9 hours since the 26th (and...loving it!), so tonight is game-free for me.

RROD'ed, now playing the waiting game. Maybe some PS2, regular xbox, surfing the internet, reading people complain, eating, Baileys, end.

Mostly my Wii, since Microsoft has been letting me down recently with their retardedness.

I had a few people over for some Rock Band. We didn't make a lot of progress as a four-player band because many of the players were n00bs, but we had a blast and at least a couple of 'em seem like they'd be up for this nonsense again. I'm stoked.

I pulled out Rock Band for some friends that don't play any games. I was little apprehensive, but they totally dug it. We ended up playing right through midnight only to look up at the clock and say "oops!"

I played Tiger Woods 08. That was a ROCKIN' New Year's Eve!

i actually picked up Amped 3 used at Gamestop and have been having a good time snowboarding as of late. Also looking to get back into Half Life 2 and the Orange Box.

finishing off the achievements in assassin's creed, flags and templars, and then i'll restart the game to get conversationalist...then i should have nhl 2k6 arriving to whore. :D w00t!

Mass effect on the 3rd playthrough. Come on, the achievements are horrible, that's why im still playing this!! lol
