Actually Zac is on to something! If we could play Halo Wars in collaboration with Halo 3 to control individual units. DLC would be needed to link Halo 3 with Halo Wars. The management of a RTS then a "zoom in" front line action of a FPS!
Similar to Kingdom Under Fire series, but with true RTS elements! DO IT Ensemble! It would change the game of RTS as we know it!

actually mike theres been a few pc rts's that have done this, including one called machines that i had, it was ok but i don't really think it would work on 360, infact tbh i dont really think rts's work on 360.

agreed. from the promotional vids of Halo 3 with modeled out battles, i had hoped the game would play similarily or at least combat what the original Killoze 2 trailer looked like.
over all COD4 looks and plays better than halo 3.

It all depends on how the game is implemented, and most importantly the Achievements.
I have never played strategy, but if this properly captures Halo, has good controls, and well implemented Achievements this could easily log me hundreds of hours.

anyone know if Halo Wars will be coming out on PC around the same time or will it get a long delayed release? If it comes out on PC at about the same time, I'd be getting it there, not on my 360...they've gotten pretty good at the control schemes, but it just doesn't compare to a mouse and keyboard. This is coming from someone who prefers shooters on a 360 over a PC :)

That scale in that screenshot is horrible. The curve of the Halo in the distance is way too big. That must be one tiny ring for it to be so wide.

Eh, it all kinda looks goofy to me... Why do the humans have pink Warthogs and matching pink tanks (not covenant tanks, human tanks that are pink...)? Wtf?
