Note to Harmonix: Smaller indie bands that could use exposure on Rock Band exist outside of you and your friends Boston bands.

master track means it was made with the original versions recorded by the artists as opposed to a cover band you can tell the difference when it says, say "Push Push (Lady Lightning) /BY/ Bang Camaro" as opposed to say "Monkey Wrench /AS MADE FAMOUS BY/ Foo Fighters". In the second instead ("as made famous") it's just a cover whereas the first one ("by") indicates a master track.

I really like the Bang Camaro song that's in Rock Band already. Hopefully this one will be good also.

Ummm, if you are putting on any Count Zero songs, just put Radium Eyes back on there again.
That song stinks so bad I love it.
"RADIUM EYES BA DA DA DA DA"

I can't find anywhere on this site where it explains how comments work so I'm going to ask here.

How the heck do you reply to a previous comment?

Also, am I required to enter my username/password every time I want to leave a comment?

There's a reply button under each person's comments. HOWEVER, there seems to be some sort of script error w/the CSS or something and a lot of people(including myself) can't see it. If you hover your mouse around the bottom of people's comments you'll notice that your mouse turns to a hand. I had the same issue so I loaded up the site in Firefox and you can see the reply button. In IE6 I can't see it. I'm not going to install IE7. I'm betting it works in IE7.

Yes. Every time you leave a comment you need to enter your password. It's to prevent spammers. Use the password you get in your email every time when you first make a comment. You can also change that password at blogsmith.com.

Although the commenting isn't bad on here it's not very intuitive. There's a lot to figure out for first time commenters. Based on the perceived diffculty and hassle that's probably why most people don't bother commenting at all.

It is a good system, keeps the noise level down. I am glad it is cumbersome.

Thanks MrMuggs. That appears to be the problem. No reply button at all for me, but I found the invisible spot with some slow hovering. Now I at least know where it is for future reference.

I agree, this comment system is about the opposite of intuitive. :)

Is this going to be a CD that I can pass around or some activation code so only one person can use?

I for see all copies of OXM being sold for that month... good ploy for them to get subscribers and people to buy the mag, since it sucks.

Double LOL! Wow, a reason to buy OXM, zonks, and a forewarning myspace link. Yes, I loathe those myopic attempts at social networking sites.
