This is gonna be very awesome. I'm so glad I spent my $60 on this game. It has the potential to be in my regular game rotation for years.

I don't mind having to use a USB stick to transfer stuff(until a better integrated means is released), but they need to fix the naming of the files. You can't put more than one at a time on your USB stick because the files are named the same. Some weird combination of numbers and letters.
I would try renaming them but I don't know the scheme or if the PS3 would recognize them.

I still think it sucks that you have to own UT3 for your PC and your PS3 to create these mods. I understand the hows and whys but still...

Well technically you only need to own it for your PC. Only reason you would need to also own it for your PS3 is cause you want to play your mods on the PS3. But most mods will probably come from PC owners/users who will never themselves play the game on the PS3.

dude thats awesome? are you using ingame assets or are you modeling your own. I have to wait for unreal pc....have u tried kismet or whatever it is called?

Using assets provided with the game, and yes I have used Kismet for making the elevators and the trap door as well :) Works great for now.

finally got ut3...watching the vids from 3d buzz. Did have the prob of ut3.exe has encountered an error and after a re-install is working...cant wait to make maps!

I can't wait to try out the first mods. The game has shipped and is on its way over here to me in Europe; let's cross fingers and hope that the customs office doesn't delay its delivery for too long.
Best thing would be to get a selection of the best mods onto PSN, but of course as free downloads. Otherwise the USB stick hassle is fine with me (I'm a PSP veteran).

Right now there is four maps and one mutator available for the PS3.
If you want to download them directly to your PS3 using your PS3's internet browser and a flash card or usb device go to ut3mod.com and there is a Tutorial available there showing you how.
