Some how I doubt it was an Australian site that had the crisis pre-order up for 79 Euros. Australia uses the Australian dollar.

I would not be surprised at all if they port it. This game sold really poorly on the PC (I am sure because people figured their PC's can't play it) and they need to recoup some of their costs.

That said, I don't expect it to be good on the consoles. The console Far Cry's were awful.

low sales in Crysis and UT III for PC shouldnt surprise anyone especially the DEVs and Publishers - lets be honest, whilst a moderately powered PC 'could' run Crysis, you need a very expensive Rig to run the game as you see on the back of its box. this game is undoubtedly one of the best looking and best playing FPS's around, however if the user base is as low as it is, only a select few can enjoy it.

The age old arguement is that why should i pay $3k or more on a PC that MAY run Crysis (you still have NO gaurantee it'll run flawlessly; too many variables, esp when PC is as slow as its slowest component e.g. GPU, RAM, CPU, RAM etc) when you could spend less than 500 on an xbox setup and be GAURANTEED to play EVERY 360 game as the box shows u?

dont get me wrong - games like World in conflict supreme commander, UT III and Crysis would make me drop $4k on a PC or AW laptop simply because i think they 'belong' on the PC :) even though all are eventually coming to X360

I agree...this game will likely come out on both the 360 and PS3, but they need to deny, deny, deny so that they can sale as many copies for the PC.

When PC's in 5 years are the standard. This game will make money from the bargain bin. I hope EA is prepared for that.

lol I agree wit that.

If EA has a brain (they should now that Peter Moore is there), then they'll port this to the Xbox 360. Shouldn't be too difficulty or costly to port the game, I'm sure they'd get some positive sales in return.

My 2 year old PC can play Crysis. With a good frame rate. This PC cannot run Lost planet or anything running UE3 as anything other than a slideshow...make no mistake. the 360 could absolutely run crysis...it's simply a matter of how much it downgrades. When i played crysis it looked like far cry with better models.

Whihc might be WHY Crytek doens't want it on consoles. I mean, once you take away the graphics...crysis is a very ordianry shooter.

As long as we get warhound, I'm happy.

This game WILL come to the 360 and PS3. They are denying that fact because their number one priority right now is to SELL COPIES ON THE PC. Mark my words.

If EA is smart they'll get this out the door sometime this summer. In the spring we're going to have GTA IV and UT3...and in the late fall / winter we're getting Gears of War 2...

Releasing Crysis alongside GoW2 is suicide....

Get it out in like July and you'll sell a lot of copies (Since I've heard of nothing due out this summer anyways...)

I think you're wrong.

The 360 is capable of running most of abilities of Directx10. I think they wont release it on 360 because they don't want to make it a total PC/360 exclusive.

We all should know that the PS3 can only run Directx9, and that EA doesn't want to take sides.

But then again. EA IS GARBAGE!

That's been on their website for at least a year and a half. However Ubisoft has already said they're bringing Far Cry 2 to PS3 eventually.
