Top Xbox Live, Xbox Live Arcade titles of 2007
The top-selling XBLA game in 2007 was Konami's 1989 arcade classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, followed by Worms in second place and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in 3rd. To be honest, we're surprised to see this many original XBLA titles on the list, including UNO and Geometry Wars Evolved (still here after all these years). Hit up the full lists after the break.

I'm more surprized TMNT 1989 Arcade manage to beat out what I would consider to be far better downloads, bomberman for multiplayer, SotN for single player..

I'm more not really surprised that this is the freebee XBLA crap you are gonna get for XBL service disruption during xmas vacation. Grab yer ankles once again for good ol Major Nelson. Try not to squirm this time, huh. Oh and I hear the service is still havin hangups? anyone wanna confirm that?

I'm not surprised Bomberman didn't do well. The game is classic, but no one is ever on. I always get the "0 Games Found" message. Not enough people have it. It's a shame.

im suprised GOW is so high on that list...espescially over COD4. Crackdown too..wow.

well cod 4 didn't come out until november, so gears had about 11 months since it came out to rack up time over cod. Dont worry cod 4 will surpass it this year.

Definitely get a HDD. Other than that, they all perform equally well (or equally shotty...). If you're lucky, you won't get any RRoD problems.

I've read anecdotal evidence that newly refurbished consoles and newly manufactured consoles have a much lower failure rate, but still RRoD sometimes. Just throwing this out there, since I doubt jack is being serious.

Good to see Castlevania did so well. Maybe now that it's officially in the top three arcade games of the year, Konami can hopefully now see profit potential and deliver what all Castlevania fans have been asking for since Symphony of the Night hit the playstation; an all-new side-scrolling Castlevania game for a home console.

XBox Live was down for me. This is getting to be a joke and I am considering canceling it. The free game idea lost its appeal when I couldn't get on last night. WTF the sense of paying for a service when it is horrible. Yes I know it has been only 2+ weeks but when you pay for somthing you should expect quality. I hate to say this but I never experienced such problems on my PS2 or the Wii. Between the lag issues on COD4 and the brutal connection qualities of XBox Live I am fed up. Now time to grab my ankles while I wait for a free game of Frogger or Uno. Yippie. Might as well send me the original Candy Land board game.

I like the Xbox 360...But I feel very anti M$ right now since XBLA is still being...Poop...ish....
With 142,000 people online in halo 3(In the mode I'm playing), how long do you think it should take to start a round? 10 seconds? 40 seconds? or 5 minutes? *sigh*
That free XBLA game better be worth this.
