Guitar Hero champ plays Guns n' Roses song with Slash on real guitar
Closing out this year's CES keynote, Microsoft's Robbie Bach invited Guitar Hero champion Kelly "TipperQueen" Law-Yone on stage to play Guns n' Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle" on Guitar Hero 3. Not willing to be outdone, keynote speaker Bill Gates brings out Slash - of Guns n' Roses fame - to play "Welcome to the Jungle" on a real guitar. We'll leave the real vs. virtual guitar debate to you and South Park. Instead, we'll just spend our time wishing for this performance - and The Office parody from earlier in the keynote - show up as online video soon.

Not nearly as cool as the video of the Sex Pistols frontman dissing Guitar Hero 3 at its launch !!! Everybody should what that video !
DCBlack @ Jan 7th 2008 12:25AM
Didn't see it, but I'm guessing that didn't stop him from cashing his royalty check (I'm assuming he saw some money?) for having one of his songs in the game.

Slash owns, South Park is right, Rock Band is better, Steve Jobs > Bill Gates.

Lemme fix that
Slash owns, South Park is right, Rock Band has a horrible guitar(but is more fun with more people, but solo GH3 wins hands down), and Steve Jobs >>> Bill Gates.
baby sea tuna @ Jan 7th 2008 8:15AM
No, the first guy was right.
Well, except for the part about Slash.
Speddy @ Jan 7th 2008 9:29AM
Man, Slash sold out. Chaching...

Shignami @ Jan 6th 2008 11:13PM
Its still not gonna get him laid though.
drsashamd @ Jan 6th 2008 11:32PM
Are you talking about Bill Gates?
1. He is married.
2. He is one of the richest people in the world.
3. He is in Las Vegas.
Having one of those qualities will usually get you laid, let alone all three.
Fernando Rocker @ Jan 6th 2008 11:44PM
I'm married.
I'm poor.
And I live in Laredo, Tx.
How much % do I have to get laid?
Kazi @ Jan 7th 2008 12:43AM
Depends, is your wife seeing other men?
eldee @ Jan 7th 2008 7:54AM
as often as he posts here, it seems likely

Cool, with Peter Moore gone Microsoft is safe to break out the guitar controllers.

I fixed that for you.
XGM @ Jan 6th 2008 11:47PM
wow a 360, and 120$ to buy a plastic guitar and GH3 will get you to rock out with the real guys. Ill give up learning to play the real thing, and go back to owning in the game.
PS My friend (like many others) told me to learn the real thing instead of playing a pointless game, so i did and i must say its quite fun and really not that hard.
jynxycat @ Jan 7th 2008 1:09AM
Gud1.
baby sea tuna @ Jan 7th 2008 8:18AM
The game has a point. It's called "having fun."
Well, at least that was the point until GHIII came out.
XGM @ Jan 7th 2008 5:37PM
To baby sea tuna.
Note that it was my friend said its a pointless game. I will agree that GH is quite fun, but I have already spent the same amount of time per week on the real guitar as i would on GH normally and I have learned 7 songs (and its been 2 weeks that i have started learning on my own)
Tho i do play it at times, I find it more rewarding being able to play well on the guitar then getting 100% in GH. In the long run the GH phase will die down and those numerous hours spent will result in nothing, where as the hours spent on the guitar will help me improve that much more.
Slaziman (B-B-BRUSHED WITH FAAAAME) @ Jan 7th 2008 12:17AM

Who the hell is that chick... I've never heard of her, and I've frequented ScoreHero quite a bit up until a month ago.
Luke @ Jan 7th 2008 9:45AM
I see her at all the Dallas events, she lives in the area. She's always real nice, and pretty humble about the whole thing. She was surprised that some guys came to an event with "I (heart) Tipper Queen" written on their shirts.
