Definitely picking up the masters of STP's "Interstate Love Song" and The Hives "Die, All Right!"... not so sure about the cover version of "Number of the Beast".

Rock Band DLC is so very excellent, but making me so very poor.

This is good and all, but I'm still waiting for news on the full albums. I want Who's Next.

YES! Who's Next FTW. I remember hearing about that back in the early days of Rock Band coverage and drooling with anticipation...

Didn't they say January would be the launch of downloadable albums?

@ Rae

Yes... because some crappy Metal band that nobody's heard of is better than the ONE OF THE GREATEST ROCK BANDS OF ALL TIME.

Look, don't insult my (far superior) taste in music and I won't insult your (terrible) taste in music... ok?

I don't expect DLC every week from GH3, but c'mon. Give me some single songs, or at least more packs!

The last sentence should read:

And that, friends, rocks!

Never underestimate the power of the comma.

I have a question that sort of is and sort of isn't related to this article. Is Xbox live stupid enough to let me download a song twice. Let say I download the Metallica pack which includes songs A, B and C. Then I attempt to download song B again as a single download. Can I do this or will it inform me somehow that I already have that song. The reason I ask is because last night I went crazy downloading songs I wanted and song packs I wanted. But I didn't really pay attention to what was in packs, I just knew I like the band, so I figured I'd get the whole pack (The Police for example). I just was curious if it was idiot proof or do I need to keep track of what I've downloaded so I don't download a song more than once (once in a pack, and one as a single).

No, it's not idiot proof. See the huge disclaimer about this included in the description of every piece of RB DLC.

I'm glad there's some Maiden, mainly because it might quiet down all of the people complaining about the lack of Metal in the game.

I'm happy about getting STP, but this has to be their shortest (popular) song, it's only 2 verses. I'd rather have something off of Core (Plush, Sex Type Thing, Wicked Garden).

So I'm assuming there'll be a large library of DLC by the time this releases in Europe??
