The point is how much the Wii is in the mainstream...
The Family Circus is publicated in thousands of newspaper everyday.

It still doesnt stop the comic from sucking. But yes, this does show how known the wii is now.
Ben @ Jan 8th 2008 12:21AM
haha, yeah i get the point. I think we can grasp the concept that pretty much everyone knows what a wii is, just like most people know what a video game is.
I was also saying that the comic in general is suck.
A lot of people bought Kane and Lynch too. That also sucked.

I agree that the crappiness of the comic negates the point about the mainstreamedness.
mr nimblewick @ Jan 8th 2008 12:45AM
Nothing is mainstream until Family Circus makes it suck.
ChiTownRuler23 @ Jan 8th 2008 12:21AM
the rick james one was wayy better
mr nimblewick @ Jan 8th 2008 12:48AM
I think the cartoon should be: in the bubble: "Mommy, will you play Wii with me?" with the caption "Daddy keeps staring at me, thrusting the remote back and forth in front of his crotch, and panting."
Moofree @ Jan 8th 2008 12:56AM
Well there's always Photoshop.
But such a comic really wouldn't be much funnier.
mr nimblewick @ Jan 8th 2008 11:05AM
Coming from family circus it would be.
SID SPACE @ Jan 8th 2008 1:05AM
That reminds me of a Simpsons where Homer just finishes pasting a new comic into a "40 Years of Family Circus" album, reads a comic out of the album, says "meh," and then throws it in the fireplace.
I lmao'd when I saw that.
zuburi @ Jan 8th 2008 1:50AM
Thank you! I was trying to think which cartoon that was from! :D
hvnlysoldr @ Jan 8th 2008 2:43AM
Thank heavens he's wearing his wrist strap.
BPM64 - The Second Attack! @ Jan 8th 2008 3:34AM
But he doesn't have the glove!
No glove, no love!
Gavin @ Jan 8th 2008 4:37AM
ANNNNNNNNNNND that's a wrap.
This proves that the Wii was never "cool" to own.
baby sea tuna @ Jan 8th 2008 8:41AM
Every time I see The Family Circus, I can't help but think of the Todd Gaines speech at the end of Go:
"You read your paper, and you're enjoying your two-page comic spread. And there's The Family-fucking-Circus...bottom right corner, just waiting to suck.
And that's the last thing you read, so it spoils everything you read before it."
Rich @ Jan 8th 2008 12:41PM
My daughter bowled a frickin' 236 against me the first time we played it. Not that I'm bitter...
