Rumor: Peggle, Bliss Island and UBAM to XBLA [update]

Today, being the little detectives we like to think we are, we decided to go search crazy on the ESRB ratings board website and we struck XBLA gold! We came across Xbox 360 listings for three new and unannounced XBLA games including PopCap's addictive Peggle, Codemasters' Bliss Island and Majesco's Ultra Bust-A-Move which, in all honestly, could be an Xbox Original seeing that it originally released to the black box a few years back. Since we found all these games listed on the ESRB we have absolutely no other details pertaining to release dates or pricing, but we're sure we'll be seeing one, two or all of them making headlines later this year. So, who is up for some XBLA Peggle?

Well, I would rather pay 800 points for a fixed up version of Ultra Bust a Move than 1200 points for a Xbox emulated version.

I've still never played Peggle.

Ultra Bust-a-Move on the original Xbox was horrendous. I bought it for my wife thinking it would be similar to the Bust-a-Move game she and I enjoy in the arcade. Somehow the makers of the Xbox game took a straightforward, fun arcade game and destroyed everything that made it fun. The controls are awkward and slow. Here's hoping they don't screw up the XBLA version, too.

i agree. i loved bust-a-move in the arcade, but hated ultra bust-a-move on xbox. that game sucked.

I just played Peggle for the first time and what's the big deal? It's not that great of a game.

not because i don't like it, but because i have spent many nights passed 1 A.M. just playing the PC and iPod versions... it's too addictive and if it comes out soon, i'll never get a chance to play anything else...

I broke the Peggle story 2 days ago. Submitted that, and another "breaking news" game (Stormbringer) to X3F, but instead they just go to ESRB and publish things like they did the sleuthing.

Never heard of Peggle until I read this article but PopCap have made a few gems in their time so I'll definitely be checking it out.

Bust-A-Move (Or Puzzle Bobble as it was called over here) will more than likely be a purchase if the trial is half decent.

Peggle on XBLA? My life would be over.
