Bethesda calls for Fallout 3 QA testers, shows new concept art
Are you the kind of vault dweller not wanting to seek life outside your safe vault dwelling but still longing for excitement? Bethesda is hiring Quality Assurance (QA) testers for the upcoming Fallout 3. Sure, you get to play the game before anyone else, but as an added incentive, Bethesda's Ashley Cheng notes that top testers usually get pulled to be interns for the company.
The developer diary for Fallout 3 has also been updated to give a profile for the Brotherhood of Steel, as well as show off some concept art for the game that you can also peruse in our gallery below. Fallout 3 is still slated for a Fall 2008 release.

I've never gotten around to playing either of the Fallout games, are they worth checking out?
Jerk Face @ Jan 9th 2008 4:26PM
They're great, but dated. 2 is the only one I would even consider playing. I tried, recently, to make it through 2 for the first time but I just couldn't. It didn't hold up well enough over the years.
The setting and feel are good, interface and game play dated.

You mean games has Quality Assurance testing. After playing Blacksite, Assassins Creed and Totemball over the last few days I thought that they didn't even have a debugger in the studios.

Totemball :/ Yikes!

Mom, can I move to Maryland and get a job?
Oh, I'd be playing videogames and getting paid for it.
Why yes, it does sound like a dream come true.

Until you find that your salary can only sustain life in a trailer park...

Please, you make it sound like you don't need to have roomies for your trailer.

Anyone a Dimmu Borgir fan? That picture looks like something from Death Cult Armageddon? Anyone?

Not enough corpse-paint. :)

I like Bethesda's stuff, and really want to get excited about Fallout 3 (even though I didn't play the original).
I just can't help but think 'post-apocalyptic Oblivion' every time I see the screens, though.

Is this Fallout or Dune?
