I actually bought Psychonauts and it was a pretty good game, still stuck on the last level though. Stupid bunnies.

Burnout 3: Best Burnout ever...forget the stupid open world 'go search for your race' gametype Paradise offers..just drop me into a Takedown match instead!

this is a must buy to me

I bought Psychonaughts. It was becoming very hard to find and the lure of no loading times was too great after I got some credit for Christmas.
I'd consider getting KOTOR as an Original if it ran faster as well. Otherwise most of the games are cheaper in the store and generally available.

I bought Psychonauts after checking ebay and discovering that the xbox version usually sells for $20 or more. I'm glad I did it's an awesome game.

Uh, this game is all over the place for like $10CAD used. I'd be stupid to buy it with MS points.

Would it be THAT HARD to invent Achievements for XBO games? (sigh)

Yes. They are hard to do. It requires paying programmers to re-write the game code. It's not worth it.

Definition of Xbox Original:
1. Exact duplicate of original game that you can download rather than playing from a disk. Usually more expensive than said disk version. Further punishes early adopters who weren't given the option of the 120 GB HDD at the time of 360 purchase by fillinhg up their tiny 20 GB HDD.
2. Attempt at making money without actually doing ANY work. Microsoft is trying to program the 360 to print money i.e. Nintendo Wii, DS, etc.
3. Totally lame!

The only reason to re-play these games on 360 would be if they had achievements. They can add achievements to retro XBLA games so why can't they add them to XBOX Originals games?

Yeah, the series definitely hit it's mark with Takedown.

I'd be all over originals if they added some..ANY....achievements. Even if it was for getting 25%, 50% etc... through the game. Hell, even if it was just for finishing....they'd have me

Still have the disc, so I don't need to buy the download version.
What I really wanted was Burnout 4 to hit the BC list. (Yes, I know there's a 360 version, but it wouldn't be the only game on the BC list with a 360 version.)
Sadly, looks like that will never happen, if this Kotaku story from CES is what it seems:

well last time i checked in with the burnout franchise, i don't know what is good or not.
I guess it's just better to avoid this so i don't have to pass judgement.

I found Burnout 3: Takedown better than Revenge, simply becuase of traffic checking. This additiong to Revenge made the game easier, and therefore the game lost its tense dangerous feel.
I stil wouldn't buy this, considering it's cheaper used in a Gamestop and Burnout: Paradise being so soon to release.

I don't see the big deal. Some of them are worth it (as mentioned Psychonauts is more expensive to buy separately) and sometimes it's just nice to have instant access to something.
I'd complain more if these games were not otherwise playable... but if anyone can easily find most of them for cheaper at the store and still play them just as nicely, what's it really matter? It's not exactly hard to do an online search first and unlike VC games it wouldn't otherwise require completely separate hardware.
I can't say I feel ripped off by it given the other easily accessible option.

Yeah, I'll let you guys be the guinea pigs to see if the online servers are shut down. Can't wait to see the screams of the angry people who buy it and then can't get online.

paying more to play a game that i can get cheaper at the used game store? and no extras, such as achievements, even? i'm not one to complain usually... but no thanks.

No the pricing is rubbish! They are way too expensive! What the hell is the point on buying an Xbox Original when you get get the real originals with disc, box and manual for much cheaper!
MS badly need to reduce the costs on XBLM or at least allow for purchasing of points other than 500 point denominations! That's just how they make money!

I bought Halo CE since I only own it for the PC, and I like having it always ready to play on the console whenever I want. Achievements are pointless anyways, so who cares if these don't come with e-peen extensions.
