I hope the lag isn't really that bad. But I always have bad cell reception where I have a second or less of lag, so it won't be that bad for me.

Time lagging over voip calls are common. Those who do voip calls to abroad know this well. I used to experience this with my so called broadband wifi connection.

Skype in all it's forms seems to lag a bit. I think it buffers everything to stop it from being choppy if the connection isn't so good. It's usually pretty meaningless because you're not using it with someone right there in the room with you like people would do when playing with new features like this.

Yeah Skype is kind of laggy just by itself so it's no surprise if the PSP version is too.

Trev is right , usually Skype has some lag , especially on weaker connections ... so its not a big issue ...

Sounds like some biased reporting to me.

Even my AT&T and Sprint phones have had noticeable lag, about 1/4 second. If I say 'HEY' fast and I call someone on another phone in person, I can hear myself a split second later on their end.

Less than a second of lag is in keeping with regular cell service. Sad, but true.
