Why offer BC when they can offer up Xbox Originals and tie it down with that tasty DRM?

Yeah, I just really can't let it go. And I'm sorry.

I'd like the original NFL Street because it seems that it is still better than NFL Tour.

Mercenaries! Actually I'm kind of hoping they make it downloadable. During their last update they originally listed MVP 2005 but took it off the list, but not before I bought my $3 copy on ebay. I want my MVP 2005!

As I said on X3F...

They CAN'T quit until we get Beyond Good & Evil, Castlevania: CoD, Gunvalkyrie, Kung Fu Chaos, BOTH Hunters, the Midway Arcade Treasures, Obscure, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, Prince of Persia 2 & 3, Psi-Ops, Second Sight, Sudeki, Suffering 2, BOTH Timesplitters, Tron 2.0, Voodoo Vince, The Warriors and BOTH X-men Legends!!!

Those are all Xbox 1 games that I own and either a) never finished and really want to, b) want to play again because they were so awesome, or c) pull out occasionally and play with my friends due to a lack of good co-op games that I own for the 360. Seeing as how my xbox 1 crapped out a few months ago (and I don't have the extra hookups anyways) I *really* wanted to see these games on the BC list.

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition ReMix. Aside from having more words in the title than dialogue in the game itself, it was a really sweet game. The customization was very complete.

Or maybe eventually they'll make a 4th in the series.

They don't exactly have to make a game backwards compatible before releasing it as a Classics game. Consider that, unlike the case where they're working out compatibility for a disc in your physical possession which they can't change, they CAN make changes to the software (generally just subtle ones... "hey idiot, we told you not to use this API call that way and you did anyway. Fix it and then you're compatible again") to enhance backwards compatibility before they put it on Live.

Ninja Gaiden Black works, yeah. I still suck too badly to play it.

I'm waiting for Everything or Nothing (one of the few 007 games to really wow me), and Midway Arcade Treasures. My kids love Rampage, and I get to reminisce with APB.

Of course, all this is moot with another 3-ring circus. My coffin came yesterday, and I sent it out. This is the second time, the last was about six months ago. It's truly ridiculous, and it doesn't give me a lot of cred with my wife when I want to buy a 360 game.

Anybody get a replacement lately? More reliable or less?

Crazy Taxi 3... I could actually see myself dropping that disc in.  Although I'd rather punch it up off the Arcade list.

I don't care what anyone says, about it being impossible because of the controller, as I don't see those as hurdles. Give me Steel Battalion. I have the controller. Original XBOX plug-to-USB adapters exist, and I'm already invested heavily in the game.

Aside from that, Deathrow would be awesome. With those two games, I could get rid of my XBOX Classic altogether (everything else is already on the BC list).

If they bring a decent Goldeneye port to Live Arcade all will be forgiven.

I'm doubly screwed because all the stuff I've been holding out hope for are collections like Capcom Classics Collection (the first slap in the face Vol 2 was canceled before it was ever even released on original Xbox).

Taito collection, Midway Arcade Treasures, Metal Slug 3 and 4. All of them will never come out becuase that will cut into everyones DLC profits...

sigh.

MechAssault. They've already done MechAssault 2, but not the original.

Really glad that ESPN NFL 2K5 went BC, also.

I think I'm going to put every single Xbox game I own into the 360 just to say,

"Hey I want to play these. Get back to work on them!"

TIME SPLITTERS 2!!!! My Halo edition first xbox was flooded by hurricane katrina... after i moved to houston I scored a brand new sealed copy of Timesplitters 2 and a little ways after I got a 360 when they came out. I have been waiting patiently for microsoft to make TS2 Backwards compatible. I still havw it sealed for me to unwrap it when i am able to play it in my 360....

Capcom vs. SNK 2. But it doesn't look like it's going to happen at this point. I guess it's time to look into the overpriced Playstation 2 version, or barring that, the GameCube version for my Wii and that Thrustmaster controller that nobody sells.

If you can't update BC via Live, then accept our returned Xbox Original games so that you could send the 360-compatible versions back to us. ;)

how many people actually use BC anyway? it cant be the majority of people. i only use BC on my Wii to play Super Smash Bros. Melee with my friends since it is essentially a souped up GameCube (and this will stop as soon as Brawl drops next month). i really think that we should all just let BC die and let them focus that labor on more important stuff.

Oddworld: Strangers Wrath

Those are the biggest disappointments for me as they're still totally unrivalled by any Xbox360 game. RSC:2 was the single best rally game ever made IMO, the online would still knock the socks off DiRT or Sega Rally today!
