TGS 2008 dated Oct. 9-12
Tokyo Game Show organizer CESA has announced that the annual trade show will be held October 9-12 this year, several weeks later than its typical September arrival. TGS 2008 will be hosted in the show's usual spot, the Makuhari Messe convention center, and, like last year, the first two days will be closed to the public. With E3 retaining an invite-only policy, expect TGS to continue to be the world's largest games event, with Leipzig Game Convention a close second.

No "casual" gamer would assist to a video game expo of any kind, all those present are gamers, "hardcore" if you will.
Nintendo seemed worried about the E3 lack of boring charts so they decided to work on that, it was either that or they really didn't have anything good to show. I mean is not that I didn't like the crude demo of Mario kart or the unexciting news of one of the most hyped games ever not named Halo or the white thingy you step up or down but it was a snore fest all around.
Microsoft show was good overall except they forgot to announce something new and exciting but at least was entertaining.
Sony was great and it was a huge improvement over the Giant enemy crab / Riiidgeee racer lolfest but it seems xbots and non-wiilievers don’t recall that.
But I think I speak for everyone when I say that the most memorable event in the E3 of 2007 was Jamie Kennedy being drunk and then pwned by that British guy, yes a bit cruel but it was a necessary overkill. Oh and a honorable mention to the High school musical event, wtf was that all about? well the crowd at least was excited, lol.
I figured last E3 went Sony > Nintendo > Microsoft (because they showed next to no new content)
But I don't think Nintendo will attend, i don't know why, but TGS just isn't their thing
