They had this for some Wii games too. They'll never honor the price either, none of these places do anymore.

No, They just canceled they orders. Not even a special email. They just clicked on the "cancel order" buttons for you. I got a email stating they're processing my order cancellation request and then another one saying they completed it.

Culdcept is a budget game; EB also has it for $40. The other price errors *are* pretty cool, though. That's why I sent in a tip about it 2 hours before you posted it (grumble).

I also missed the Smash Brothers Brawl $20 deal (double grumble).

Yeah... no... If it is for pre-orders specifically they are not held to any pricing listed online. If the product was physically released yes...

They have a statement that states pricing is subject to change blah blah blah... It even mentions errors in pricing do happen... Imagine that... Whatever the case they will contact you prior to the charge and ask if you still want it at the full price.

They either messed up or purposefully made an error to generate sales/buzz.

Does not matter if they change the price. If they do, I cancel the order. Simple as that and I am out.......NOTHING. It makes sense to jump on a possible deal. If they honor the price, then we were smart to jump. If they don't, then it comes as no surprise to me as I fully expect them to pull some kind of excuse out of their behind.

isnt walmart going to make a ton of money off of the interest from the pre-orders? therefor not end up really loosing out in the long run? or did i miss something and no one has put money down yet.

Don't worry if you missed out. Walmart is cancelling most orders. I ordered 2 360 games, 1 PS3 game and Smash Bros but Walmart sent me an email that indicated they were cancelling my order. Funny thing is though they didn't cancel the entire order. They let me have Smash Bros still for $19. Knew it was too good to be true but I'll take one out of 4. Better than nothing.

Time for everyone to hit the Better Business Bureau. If this were in the store, they would be obligated by law to sell you the item for the listed price.

These guys should update the post again saying that all the orders are being canceled.

I don't see what the big deal is. Did you actually expect them to honor those low prices?

Pricing mistakes happen all the time online and the websites have specific language on them to protect from the errors. They are not obligated to honor pricing mistakes online.
