My main problem with Mac users is not wheter or not Windows is a better operating system. But rather, that they think because they have Macs they are automaticaly supperior to all those who don't.
DWells55 @ Jan 12th 2008 6:55PM
I see far more people making fun of Mac owners than I see Mac owners bashing PC owners.
Vince UK @ Jan 12th 2008 7:03PM
I don't see people giving a toss either way, ON A DAILY BASIS!
Big Ed @ Jan 12th 2008 7:03PM
Untrue. I never think I am superior than people who don't have a Mac. PCs and Macs have advantages and disadvantages, and I understand that.
Big Ed @ Jan 12th 2008 7:05PM
Whoops. I meant TO people who don't have a Mac.
ThornedVenom @ Jan 12th 2008 7:21PM
You might be confused with Linux. =)
Arno @ Jan 12th 2008 7:42PM
I'm about to become a "switcher." I've been a lifelong Windows user and advocate but I've been waiting since about October for the new MacBook Pro models (due Tuesday's keynote, hopefully) so I can finally get one. I'm in it for OS X and just the Apple design and build quality, even though I'll probably still load Vista on it for work.
No I don't think I'm better, yet. :p
James @ Jan 12th 2008 8:21PM
I'm currently on XP on an iMac.
I know I'm better than people who bash people who use a different OS to them.
Psaakyrn @ Jan 12th 2008 8:38PM
@DWells55
The reason why more (windows) people make fun of mac owners, than (mac) owners making fun of windows owners, is becvause there's MUCH more windows owners.
Patrick @ Jan 13th 2008 9:06AM
What I think you really have to worry about are linux users, they just wont stfu. I mean it may be customizable and stuff but you don't have to bring it up in EVERY SINGLE POST. Ya digg?
chispito @ Jan 13th 2008 1:04PM
I don't know that a whole lot of Mac users buy into this mindset, but it's easy to get that impression from Apple's advertising.
I like the physical build quality and aesthetic design of Macs, but I hate that they let those idiot designers reign supreme, and so you get things like the current Macbooks, which thanks to their spiffy looking hinge, have no ports along the back, and a lower-sitting screen that causes even more neck strain than your typical laptop.
Mr Khan @ Jan 13th 2008 2:59PM
It splits up like this
PC: Minimal OS customization, full hardware customization, massive product support
Mac: Minimal OS customization, minimal hardware customization, moderate product support
Linux: Full OS customization, full hardware customization, near zero product support
choose your advantages and disadvantages, or just get GNU Grub and a massive HDD that you can segregate and try 'em all :)
n0v4 @ Jan 14th 2008 6:32AM
I got the two of them, simply no operating system is really better than the other.
They just serve different purposes.
As many people prefer to use Linux than windows on Servers because of the security and the stability it provides.
The Mac vs PC debate is as insignificant than the Star Trek vs Star Wars one.
Andre @ Jan 12th 2008 7:07PM
Neat game. :)
Optimus Prime @ Jan 12th 2008 7:31PM
Use a Mac EVERY day at WORK (new idea for you Mac hippies)and can truly say without a shred of doubt: GARBAGE. I tried, I really did. Steve Jobs can suck my iPenis!
michas_pi @ Jan 13th 2008 2:48AM
I think you mean "e-penis".

Id lol if it wasnt.

This game is incredibly deep because of the moral choices involved: do I REALLY want to help Steve Jobs prepare for his MacWorld keynote?
Abuzar @ Jan 12th 2008 8:38PM
Let me make it easier.
Would you REALLY want to help the devil?
lol jk

It's fun complaining of both MACs and PCs :)

Is this what passes as a joke?

Just a little satire for y'all.

You do realise that Maddox has been publicly owned and humiliated with his warped view on Mac OS X and the Mac range of computers? It's the most funniest thing I've witnessed in fucking ages and this is coming from a PC/Mac user.
playwhutyalike (kinda digs Manhunt 2) @ Jan 13th 2008 11:36AM
It's satire. He said it himself that he doesn't believe what he puts on his site. It's all about humor and response. People respond to him telling him how wrong he is, he doesn't care. He does it to get a rise out of people.
I myself would like to make the jump to a G5, but due to one audio mixing program of mine, Fruity Loops, I can't make that jump till I find a suitable replacement.
Chill out, it's just humor.
ill trooper @ Jan 14th 2008 1:24AM
Replacement for Fruity Loops? Move to Ableton LIVE, my friend... SUPERIOR. Or get with the new version of ProTools... And if you do go Mac, go with the intel model - then, you can run windows, and hence Fruity Loops if you must.
playwhutyalike (kinda digs Manhunt 2) @ Jan 14th 2008 7:28PM
I've got the Abelton Live Lite 6.01 yet have to mess with it. I do like the GUI of it, nice and straight foward. I'm just a lazy ass who is used to using FL rewired into Reason.

"Clicks on the 'Steve Jobs Keynote' that goes to engadget."
"Sees that engadget post is posted on Jan. 15, 2008 at 12:00 PM."
"Checks date on computer."
Oh shit! Time Paradox!
