There was absolutely no terms and conditions, so no foul play by registering more than once. Also, there was no way for the people to know there was any limit on the number of codes available, so it's not like they intentionally screwed anyone over (except FOX). Chill out. PS. Nobody's getting banned

I don't see anyone getting actually banned since there is always a limit on this kind of thing but a lot of people missed out that shouldn't have. I'll admit to not getting just one code -- I got 5 -- but all of my submissions were with email addresses that I've had for quite some time and use. While it also sounds like a lot of work, or at least effort that I hate ( forms ), those who signed up tons of worthless email accounts for this are quite selfish. IMHO anyway. Anywho.... Thanks X3F for the heads up, even with all of the greed by some fans.

anyone who took more than 1 code is selfish. don't think you're exempt just because "you already had the email addresses"

Why would MS ban anyone? Fox will have paid MS for this promo so MS have their cash and Fox got traffic and our email addy's so no-one loses except those people bitching because they missed out.

Yeah, it's not like people are being selfish as fuck or anything, by defrauding a giveaway system...

To any of you cheap scumbags who used multiple e-mail addresses, I hope you get anally raped with a curling iron.

And John, it's not like people don't have a right to bitch or anything...

FOX advertises this giveaway on our dashboard, but then doesn't mention anything about giving away the codes 2 FULL HOURS before the premiere.

And I'm sure they'll be perfectly fine with NOT rewarding as many XBL members as possible, because championing the snarkiest and most cynical members with multiple e-mail addresses was clearly their cause.

I wouldn't be surprised if people DO get banned, it's not like it won't be noticeable when people use more than 1 free code on each account.

Unlike John's hopes (wonder what side he's on? hmmm), people WILL be banned for this. Even these apparently happy-go-lucky folks who "just so happened" to steal as well.

You got your points now, but you gave yourself some shitty karma. Have fun with the rape over.

You talk about Karma then you say "I hope you get anally raped with a curling iron." Hypocritical don't you think.

Just admit it, the ones moaning are just bitter they missed out. It happens, it's happened to me before but just take it on the chin and deal with it.

I'm not a thief, John. That's the difference. And I mentioned karma AFTER, not before...it's not my fault you only read what you want to see.

Karma would still apply here, also. It involves constant liars having to take physically what they attempt to do mentally to other people.

It's bad enough that they are so pathetic and faux needy in the first place, why they would want to rub it in on here (other than, y'know, out of anger at having to wade in the genetic kiddie pool) is beyond me.

It's real easy for smaller fuckups to dismiss the problems created by a big fuckup.

And there you are, John, standing by what occured because you obviously benefitted, lying through your teeth trying to explain why legitimate complaints are bitching.

I'm not going to bother arguing on the internet. It's pretty simple. If they wanted it limited to one gamer-tag all they'd have to do is put a filter so if it was the same gamertage entered more than once then it came up with an error (like it did when you entered in the same email address). It didn't, ergo it wasn't limited to one per member. I owe nothing to MS, nothing to Fox and nothing to the idiots on here posting some unbelievable hate mail to people who took advantage of a decent deal.

Laters.

The funny thing is the same people here are the ones who constantly complain about the pricing on marketplace, however free points come there way and its "what do I buy, marketplace ftw". That being said those who took advantage must be very poor and disadvantaged so I say give em their points, maybe they can buy a theme for their cardboard box lmao

To all the people that scammed and all the people defending them

There are no laws preventing you from farting in resturants or paying for an expensive item entirely with nickels, but you dont do it because its not in good taste. Please grow up and if your not going to grow up, keep it to yourself.
Luckly I was surfing the fanboy sites when this was first posted, so i mangaged to get the points before you ass holes nuked the system. Too bad for everyone else though.

Actually where I'm from there /is/ a law that allows shopkeepers to refuse taking an excessive amont of change in payment for an item.

But I agree with the sentiment of your statement

coming from someone that missed out on the points, what's the big deal? everyone talking about they only would have taken one offer if they had the chance only missed out on $2.50 worth of points...wow. if you need to cry about $2.50 and hope that someone;s $400 console breaks just because they got a deal then you need to grow up.
