See first trailer for Highlander game

First off, if the game doesn't have the Queen soundrack (album title: It's a Kind of Magic) that would suck, but if you have a 360 it won't matter since you can still jam out to those great songs when you play.

2nd, I am skeptical about Eidos making the game, but the HUGE upside is that they did a deal with Epic to use the Unreal Engine, used in Gears of War, rather than the crappy one they used in Kane and Lynch.

The only accent that I thought was awesome was Adrian Paul's in the tv series and in End Game and in the Source movies.

But I do think it's good that they are using a different Macleod character, because we already know so much about the other 2. Plus, with Owen being 2,000 years old it makes for a very broad time span to play some kick ass levels with scenery that could be stunning if the utilize the Unreal Engine the way that it is capable of being used.

If they weren't going to use a Macleod then Methos would have been an awesome choice!!! Shit, he's 5,000 years old... think of all the different stuff you could do with that time span.
On a side note, Adrian Paul should have kicked the director of Highlander the Source in the balls for making the world look so different and futuristic, but then having Joe Dawson alive and well in it. Too much Green Screening!!! They could have made the Source amazing, but they kind of blew it.

I think this is a great IP for a game, but I seriously have my doubts about it. Eidos is has such a hit and miss (and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss) record that I really can't get excited about their games anymore without a demo.

Man I used to love those movies. Hope they are making a new one soon. About the trailer...it actually looks sweet but wheres the in-game gameplay screens? Doubt this will be any good which sux =(

Huh. Colin MacLeod was the protagonist in the Highlander: The Search for Vengeance (animated movie)... but that came out June '07, so what were they doing for those first 3 years in terms of a protagonist?
