Fact Checkers Unit is online somewhere-- at least I watched it. It was entertaining but I can't see many people putting down 2 dollars for these. I guess it doesn't hurt them much to put 'em up.

This is another bad example of how the marketplace can be used effectively. Who wants to pay $2 for unknown shorts that may/may not be decent?

In my opinion it would have been better to charge a flat fee of say $10 for the timed "event" and you can watch all of the shorts during the week-or-so period.

Not a bad idea. There's nothing wrong with the marketplace having 'more' things available.

I do, however, wonder if the filmmakers see any of the money? Or do all of the purchase fees - albeit, probably not that much - just go to the Sundance Institute?
