Meet Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney right here, right now
Though you'll be assuming the role of attor-n00b Apollo Justice in Capcom's fourth venture into the comical court, it's still your job to help the chronically unprepared Phoenix Wright out of a bind in the opening case. If you've been hesitant to ease yourself into this pun-infested round of laughable legalese, you'll be pleased to find a playable trial version of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney embedded after the break (you'll find the code at the official site). Once you've gotten acquainted with the new cast in this first installment built specifically for the DS, you can look forward to bailing the game out of stores on February 19th.

Man, that pic. Baltar looks like the freaking lovechild of the Unibomber and Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer.

Not that obscure to those cool people down with BSG ;)

I always thought he looked like Jesus after he came back from "being held captive".

Massive cop-out ending in the game. BTW, the obscure reference? The character on the right's name is Apollo and he's acting as legal counsel to the man on the left (Baltar) in the new Battlestar Galactica.
Take that, intellectual elite!

Wow first 4 comments is about the picture not the game.
Well here's the first.
I started playing the flash game (up until it actually started), and stopped. When it does come out, having to replay it would take a while. Some of the cases take way too damn long.

You act like real complex murder cases don't take months or years to solve.

Mmm, that demo was great fun. May have to look into these games some more.

Fun but total cop-out ending, as said before.

I totally sent in a tip yesterday, but Kyle Orland was away. Oh well, better luck next time.
Until we meet again! *whoosh*

Anyway, it's pretty weird that Nintendo just gave us a date in their press release for AJ as Feb. 12th, but the Capcom site says Feb. 19th.

Apollo and GLaDOS both have something in common: They're fine.
"Two plus two is... ten... in base four I'M FINE!"

I can't believe I just played through that whole thing and his freakin' voice goes out and the demo ends. Thanks Capcom/Joystiq (for posting this) - - now I have to buy all the Phoenix Wright games and Apollo Justice. Fantastic.

I thought I had failed to "notice the lies" sooner. I always wondered how you could "fail" in these games, as I never played them either, and I thought that is what I did.
Embarrassingly, I played through a second time to make sure.
It's too bad it's not a real port of the demo online, just a very good flash version. Otherwise, I say the DS has made a nice transition to PCs.
ThornedVenom @ Jan 17th 2008 7:26PM
Having never played Phoenix Wright, it's a surprisingly fun demo. But yeah, the way they cut it was really crappy. xD
