that was one of the worst demos i've ever played. I guess the crappy trailers and not so hot previews wasn't obvious enough for me.

Ha at the whole "Xbox 360 users get Turok" I got gold and I cant download Turok, the stupid child locks. I pay to get stuff early yet its still "advertising", most unconstitutional garbage I've ever heard.

What? Um, you might want to re-read your copy of the Constitution, buddy.

They are CENSORING a game from me, the ESRB is policing free-speech just because I'm under 18. I dont recall a clause in the constitution saying

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances (Unless of course dealing with the impressionable children.)"

So that instantly makes the ESRB "law" null and void, which states that children [under 18] cannot view [free] advertising content thats rated M. Thats another thing, i !PAY! for getting this "[free] advertising" early, yet I still cant get it. It would be like buying the game and them saying, "you cant play this, no free speech for you!"

Take them to court. I'm sure your defense will hold up there.

Better yet, start a class-action lawsuit. I hear they're all the rage these days.

You are a fuckin' idiot, pal.

The Constitution's purpose is to limit the powers of the GOVERNMENT. Since the ESRB is a private institution, and Microsoft is a private company, they are legally allowed to do whatever the fuck they want as long they are not in breach of a CONTRACT that you agreed to ("Terms of Use").

You want to quote the Constitution? Fucking read the goddamn thing yourself! The first words of the quotation you yourself are citing state very clearly: "CONGRESS shall make no law, yada yada yada." See that word? CONGRESS. Compare that with what you wrote next:

"So that instantly makes the ESRB law null and void"

Do you see "CONGRESS" anywhere near there? Or, "GOVERNMENT"? Or anything similar to that at all? NO. It's ESRB, a private institution.

Private institutions are NOT required to protect your freedom of speech, because the Constitution only protects those rights from being abused by the GOVERNMENT, not by private individuals or organizations.

And... holy shit, I can't believe I wasted my time educating some smart-ass child on Constitutional law. But there you have it.

I'm sorry. I always assumed that the ESRB was government funded since its creation was at the hands of government. Since it IS a privately owned board, then I must admit that I was wrong. I now reform my opinion to say that its totally legal, but sucks.

Lol, regardless of how much you do (or don't) play your PS3, it's amazing how quickly that thing attracts dust! I got mine at Xmas and I swear I've had to clean it 3 times already.

Nice try at a witty comment, but your horrible spelling and grammar, ruined it. On top of that, the PS3 doesn't have many system selling games (AAA exclusives), therefore many people don't have a reason to touch theirs.

I realize that there will be more games soon, and that there are some really good ones out, so don't troll me with the stereotypical "PS3 HAS GAMES" shit, because I know it does.

Sony is starting to get it's groove on now. If they are not careful, they might actually start gaining momentum and start being more successful! ;)

I love this. Competition is a good thing.

Sucks to be a silver member and "Still waiting". I don't care if the demo blows..... I got to play it before a silver member had the choice to do so. FREE online FTW!!!!

This isn't an anomaly, this is just the start.;)

i got the turok demo in mx xbox magazine. It came along with a song pack for rock band and other goodies. Turok its self plays like a mediocre game just above area 51 blacksite but happens to have dinosaurs. The game isnt looking so sharp on the UT3 engine, it kinda resembles a game like RB6: Vegas. The game play is a bit refreshing doing something that hasnt been done in a while, but the aiming is almost could use some work. (I only tried it at the default sensitivity) The way the game works doesnt put that much pressure on you to survive (not all the dinosaurs attack you unless provoked) and they can be distracted with a flare.(oooo shiny!!) Also the Turok looks like a chipmunk in the face.

Funny that you cant try the multiplayer even though it gives you the option to do so as a tip in the load screen "tired of campaign? try multilayer" (something like that)

THANK YOU. I'm glad someone mentioned the Cerebral Bore, easily one of the most unique weapons in videogaming(with anything found in RATCHET & CLANK coming in close second).

yeah all the unreal engine games have the same look and feel...and to foxhound i dont think any game can match the originality and uniqueness of ratchet and clank...and in my opinion this year looks quite a bit inn the favour of the ps3 over 360. with killzone and MGS i think it has the edge this year
