Congrats Rock Band and all it's contributors. But how about some GHII or GHIII action. Not enough DLC going on their is there.

Back in June or July, the GH2 publishers touted how "Hot" their downloads were by citing 200,000 downloads in a little over 3 months.

Fast forward Rockband gets 10x the amount of downloads, from a much smaller user base, in half the time. Good job Harmonix.

Now maybe Activision will pull their heads out of their ass and offer individual downloads of songs for a cheaper price which is what people have been asking for ever since they made those rehashed GH1 packs available.

I have to imagine that Activision and the GH guys are kicking themselves right now. Their DLC plan has been awful, with bundles the norm, and very few available tracks. Rock Band comes out and they are selling gangbusters by providing lots of content and an option to buy the individual songs.

I know I bought 6 or 7 tracks the day I got Rock Band, and I have bought at least 1 song every week since then. I don't see an end in sight. I don't like every song that is released, but they release enough volume and variety that there is usually at least one I want.

That is the winning model. I have both GH 2 and 3, and I bought 1 pack for each of them, neither of which are getting played anymore. Rock on Rock Band!

I happily spent about $30 on DLC for Rock Band. I have purchased zero songs for GHIII. If you want to be greedy, you are not getting my $$$. Great Job Harmonix!

reasonable prices, good selection, Rock Band owns!

on a side note, I went through $30+ so far on DLC for Rock Band. it's basically my new karaoke machine! More Maiden and Metallica (pre 90's).

Sweet, Metallica and Juke Box Hero were the first ones I grabbed. And The Police pack of course. Too bad Juke Box Hero is a cover, that kind of sucks.

The reason they've been successful, unlike Guitar Hero, is that they have content on a regular and steady basis at a reasonable price. They've completely crushed Guitar Hero and I'm so glad that I bought Rock Band. Rock Band is a better game for friends and family plus it's really supporting the community.

Joker and the Thief by Wolfmother on hard on drums is the funnest song to play that I've found in the game.

I am one of the many that have been buying downloadable songs for Rock Band. I own Guitar Hero 2 & 3 but could never bring myself to purchase any of their song packs. Something about being able to buy songs individually really makes the dlc more attractive for me.
