Did you hear the one about the two Portal security guns?Smooth Few Films, creator of The Leet World, takes boring office banter to Portal's timecard workers -- the security turrets. Through this video, we witness ordinary events in these drones' day, all tied together with Portal in-jokes. It's like Office Space recast with robot guns as the leads.
The video probably rates NSFW for language at most jobs. (School teacher: yes. Lobster fisherman: no.) With the stress that these workers endure, we can forgive them for swearing. See the video after the break.
The internets eventually ruin all things, breaking them down into simple parts so the masses can digest them. One day, these parts will be reborn, and we will rejoice at the wonder we have found.
Oh, really? Maybe I'll finally subscribe to the magazine. They've been sending me these "hey, asshole, you still need to send us twenty bucks or we'll continue to annoy you with these annoying slips of paper whose purpose is to annoy you and remind you that you still need to pay us" slips of annoying paper for a few months now because I signed up for two free issues.
Damn, that was some funny shit. All except the part with the WCC. The voice just didn't fit it, and it was just a rather pointless part in my opinion. But the silly banter between the turrets was great. Especially the singing.
Maybe it's because I'm sick and wearing winter clothes with the heat jacked up to 80, but the "Still Alive" portion slayed me. Actually yes, I think it is because I am sick.
Loved the vid, funny as hell. But I absolutely totally detest gamevideos, that site always gives rotten performance. If you're watching a streaming video, what's the point of streaming it if it takes 5 times longer to stream it than the video actually lasts? I wish Joystiq would stop linking to this sucky "service". :(
