Dudes, I'm not sure that's ness. From my PoV, it looks more like the Pokemon Trainer. Figures- he's with Pikachu, Lucario, and Jigglypuff.

There are two pictures, one featuring pokemon characters, and the other featuring only Lucas and Ness.

In the first picture, yes, it's Pokémon Trainer. It's the second one with Ness though.

Here's some screens I enlarged to 400%, looks more like Ness here (again, look at the second one for Ness):

I hope in any match that involves Pokemon Trainer v. Lucario, PT just stares jealously at Lucario the whole time.

Man, this is so exciting. If were to just compare Brawl to Melee in terms of character numbers, sure: Melee had 25 characters total, while Brawl is so far sporting about . . . 28 or so confirmed, likely even more than that we the game's true roster is learned when the Japanese release hits.

But consider this: in Melee, there were only really 19 different characters. 6 of them, Roy, Pichu, Falco, Ganon, Dr. Mario and Young Link, were carbon copies of the originals. That means there were only about 7 additional unique characters added to the first Smash Bros.'s roster.

This time? We're guaranteed 12 new and original characters (13 if you include the Lucario leak) on top of the Melee roster, and the games final roster isn't even known yet!

Will Marth be back? Will Ganon return with a brand-new moveset? Will Game and Watch return as a better character?

It all seems pretty plausible, eh?

They can learn, Many characters have been changed a bit actually.
So it is entirely possible.

OMG YES AN OUENDAN 2 TROPHY

If Mewtwo is in this game too, then there might be a mission called "Lucario and the Mystery of Mewtwo", lol

Lucas =/= Ness

Lucas has different aerials, different smashes (no shitty yo-yo either) a different PK Fire, a variation of PK Flash that controls better, a different throw (Snake Rope), Tether Recovery, PK Starstorm etc

WAIT!!

THATS NOT NESS, ITS POKEMON TRAINER.

think about it, whos the odd one out? the pictures show pikachu, lucario, jigglypuff, and...ness? Pokemon trainer makes much more sense, he fits the "pokemon" theme.

Besides, the smaller picture looks more like pokemon trainer than ness. Look closer.

And look at this picture: http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/modea/images/modea12/modea12_080118e-l.jpg

The pictures all have a "kirby" theme.

Therefore, that is pokemon trainer, NOT ness.

Still, great job finding this video and confirming lucario and jigglypuff.

"new" video is here, you can see the whited out difference at 4:20 http://www.gametrailers.com/player/29714.html?type=flv

There's two pictures up there. One on the Pokemon sticker showing Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer, Lucario, and Jigglypuff. Then on the Earthbound picture is Ness and Lucas.

Are you seriously THAT retarded?
Tons of people have already said this:

Oh, and before someone says something, for that picture I put in my post, I am referring to the little icons in the lower right, for the characters that the sticker works for.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/modea/images/modea12/modea12_080118e-l.jpg

The icons show kirby, meta knight, and king dedede.

Just wanted to clear that up.

If this is true, I'm once again going to drive people in-frigging-sane because every time they think they've knocked me off the stage, they're going to hear a rousing "PK Sundaa!" as I return to kick some ass.

Here we go, Ness. You and me versus the world. The way it's always been.

Stop saying that the guys in the 2 photos are pkmn trainer, the first is pkmn trainer and the second is ness, and if you keep saying the same, look at the power up of the second photo, it says that increase PSI, and pkmn trainer never have PSI powers

Not to flame, or sound discouraging, but the only problem I have is with Ness. Sakurai said when he released Lucas as a playable character,

"There’s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now, and Lucas is very similar. They are from the same family of PK users."

That, "Up until now" part is what's irking me, 'cuz it makes it sound like he's not going to be in it. But I guess if this picture is true, he was.. wrong? Or I'm just interpreting it incorrectly.
