Interesting choice of subject considering that X3F seems to be allergic to proofreading.

Wow, a member of the grammar police attacking us in a post about grammar.

Didn't see *that* coming.

My apologies, Rich, we can't all be so clever as to deconstruct an entire argument by simply calling it obvious.

Look, I don't have a problem with you pointing out the obvious. I have no need to deconstruct your argument. I even acknowledge that we have occasional grammar problems in the post. Either you didn't read that, or you didn't care. You felt it necessary to rub your salt. And hey, that's fine. To each his own.

Damn son, you just got served!

Seriously though, who cares? I say that you guys start blogging in "l337 sp33k" only! That would get rid of all this "grammar talk" and would also be just fantastic! ;)

We're having a fight on the internet: we all got served. Sorry to let it bug me at all, honestly. Doesn't help that I put typos in two headlines today :)

Haha! I don't think most people really care anyway. If you can't look at gaming in a light-hearted and jovial way, then you are taking things too seriously. Take our friend Joop for example. He seems to be angry at gaming and game related topics in general.

Now, on to more important issues... You are dodging my very valid point about "l337 sp33k"! WTH? haha! :)

Larry, I don't have any anger towards gaming or gaming topics, I just take a bit of a tough love approach on getting gaming journalism's reading level to be at least over half its average age (which is in the 30's, according to the ESA). Ultimately, we probably both want the same thing: higher quality posting.

I completely agree.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to look over some lolcats.

I have been guilty of being a grammar nazi from time to time but it really doesn't bother me that much so I hope you guys don't take it too personally =)

My favorite was the "seel an Halo 3" one ;>

Editing dozens of blog posts a day to catch every single grammar error can't be easy, so while Joop is technically right, he's also kind of a dick for rubbing it in after they admitted their mistake. I think this applies:

I just wanted to say I really like the implementation of ask X3F. Also, I find it ridiculous that the Rock Band guitar will probably never work with Guitar Hero. Can you imagine the outrage if every game using a standard controller had its own proprietary controller?

The Free Stuff section isn't on my Spotlight section, X3F.

Is it because I'm in Canada?

Really? That's weird. On my system it's on the Spotlight section on the twist bar.

It might not be there for Canadians I suppose...

Thanks for this section of 360fanboy.com. It's really nice to get it to the people who can ask the decision makers. I appreciate it. I'm appreciative that the community isn't using this as a virtual complaint form but are truly asking questions that can significantly improve the Xbox 360 experience. Many thanks!

That guy asking about burnout revenge being taken down? I couldve sworn EA doesnt have their own private servers like on the original xbox, I hope not thats pretty lame, I bet it costs like 2 dollars a month to keep em up.

EA still runs its own servers. It's why you have to OK stuff to be able to connect with their games that nothing else asks. Which is incredibly obnoxious and makes me wonder why silver members can't play all of their EA stuff online (unless maybe they can?).

Also, you guys are doing a good job on this and, honestly, if we're supposed to consider X3F a "blog" (although I have a hard time applying that word to sites such as this, Joystiq, Kotaku, etc) why does grammar even really matter that much? Particularly as most instances are super basic typos. Move on.

I'm pretty sure EA run their own MP servers, they're likely to "re-cycle" them too, ie. the NBA 06 one goes offline and becomes an NBA 08 server (?)

I know that the NBA 06 server (amongst others) went offline a while back, because I went to play it online and got no response! I can't get my last 40G achievement for that game now (join the club Burnout Revenge) - guess it pays to play games when they come out... :(

Im from Canda and yes , free stuff was taken out of the canadian version of the marketplace.. but we dont really get much free stuff compared to the U.S.A. ... no movie thems or gamers pics :( so it doesn't really matter ... just like the fact that we don't get INSIDE XBOX !!! :(

In other news, my *american* xbox live profile does have the free stuff and the inside xbox ... I'll let you guess how to make an *american* silver profile yourselves (It can double as a clan-friends-list also)...

sadly the video marketplace that Im not supposed to see cannot be downloaded, unlike the free stuff...
