Fan-made Charles Barkley RPG sees full release

You've read the fan fiction. You've speculated on the endless message board threads. You've played the demo over and over and over. Now, the day you've been waiting for is finally here. The full release of Tales of Game's Barkley: Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden is now available for download.

We hope you've cleared the rest of your 2008, because the epic story of post-cyberpocalypse Neo New York in the wake of the great B-Ball purge of 2041 threatens to own the entirety of your existence for some time. We can't wait to find out the true nature of the chaos dunk and discover what the press release calls "a cavalcade of easter eggs, ranging from the mysterious to the unique." Hopefully by the time we're done finding them all, we'll be nearing the release of the implied second chapter of "the Hoopz Barkley SaGa." jordan and barkley did play on the same team.. the dream team of 92 won a gold medal at the barcolona olympics.

I wonder if John stockton's famous shot is in this game (you know the one where he nails the 3 over barkley and sends the jazz to the finals.. man i still think that day is the best day of my life)

This is the weirdest fan-made RPG since Awful Fantasy III. This is probably also the best fan-made RPG since Awful Fantasy III.

Because, deep down in our blackened hearts, we are all fans of Barkley: Shut up and Jam. The hit boxes are so mystifying that it could be a strong case for postmodern, cynical game design.

Im more of a fan of his book, which is titled: "I may be wrong, but I doubt it."

Woot! Now I can finally roleplay as Michael Jordan's bitch! That's what games have been missing all these years!

Jordan and Barkley never played on the same team. They played different positions. Jordan is better than anyone period. So why would you call Barkley his bitch?

Hrm, wasn't there a Charles Barkley game on the NES, SNS or Sega Genesis? I remember it and how hilariously terrible it was. No I'm not thinking of Shaq or a Michael Jordon game.

Ah yes "Barkley: Shut Up & Jam!" & "Barkley: Shut Up & Jam! 2." Both were on the Sega Genesis and the former was also on the SNES. Didn't see that in the article, kinda glanced right over it.
