Well, look at it from a marketing standpoint... They could market this to only two groups:
Toddlers/Youth or the C.H.U.D.

Since toddlers/youth can beg, whine, cry their parents to death to buy them one, the C.H.U.D. have been statistically proven to not only have difficulty finding appropriate electrical outlets to play the Vii... many opted instead to gnaw on the bodies of hapless GameStop employees and save a buck or two.


C.H.U.D. were successful in at least grumbling the word "Vii" as they defiled the corpses afterward.
