Smash Bros. Brawl to include classic game demos
We'd think that at this point, even the haters have to admit that Super Smash Bros. Brawl sounds like an incredible value. But if you've got friends that are still holding out, we have the news that may put them over the top. It was announced today on the game's official blog that Brawl will ship with demos of classic games from some of the fighters' histories right on the disc.
So far, we know you can keep an eye out for samples (or "Masterpieces" as the blog calls them) of Ice Climber, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Kid Icarus, Kirby's Adventure, Super Metroid and Star Fox 64, and there are apparently others hidden on the disc. ... So, is it March 9 yet?
How about now?

This is a really cool addition. I can't wait for people to whine about it.

Thats just one gamer's wet dream though. I'm not trying to make a logical suggestion here.
Either case: Smart: Haha, funny. Idiot: Moron, those games would span from kilobytes (NES Games) to 50MB (N64 games), a drop in the ocean for a DVD. Most games for consoles with the power of the Wii and last-gen consoles which used DVDs as their main media hardly filled the capacity of the DVD, sometimes leaving 1-2GB free space on there, and I don't mean silly shovel-ware crap, games like Kingdom Hearts II, which fanboys were proclaiming would need 2 DVDs to fit everything on only came out at 3.7GB.
Plus, these may be 'demos', but I promise you, they're the same ROM you'd find on the Virtual Console but the emulator will cut you off once a certain memory value is reached (when a level is completed) or they will be timed. Which means that when Datel squeeze their AR onto the Wii, there'll be codes to have unlimited play on those games.
I just want the game now though.

Just fucking bring out the game already. And make sure Megaman is in it.

The last game I am going to buy for my Wii is going to be Brawl, right?...Then what?

There are others but I can't think of them right now.
LOL.
So do I....Wii60 rocks does it not?
To me both systems have a plenty of great games to look forward. At least a shitload more than the ps3.
Why turn this thread into a "this console has better games coming out than this one"
Brawl will have demos of older games, which is cool when you don't really know who the characters are. I really appreciate this when I'd play the gamecube one and have no idea who ice climbers were.
As for games on wii coming out this year, you might have just noticed the incredible no more heroes. Or maybe Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit. You'll also have De Blob, We Love Golf, Red Steel 2, Animal Crossing most likely any king's story. Just chillax dude, everyone's got good games so why don't we just enjoy them all nah?
Oh god I read that and I seriously thought it was a joke. Then I read your next post and it dawned to me that you might actually be -that- retarded.
Crawl back under your rock, please.
Mario Kart is in another category... way different than those games... Mario Kart Double Dash was my most played game past gen, and still is one on my most played games. Great to play with friends, brother, cousins...
It's not an easy game... sure, its a Mario game, but no master the game is very difficult... snaking is difficult to do, altough now I'm nearly invencible now (because I can do snaking, plus I can dodge blue shells).
Its a lot more fun than GRan Turismo, Forza and other racer simulators, and requieres a lot of skills. Just watch videos on youtube, or videos about the time records...
I cut ties after the 64 (read: best) version was released.
I didn't buy the same title on the GBA, or DS, or Gamecube, and I certainly won't buy the Wii version.
It's a fun game, but Mario Kart 64 is just as fun now as it was back then, just play that and be happy.

...I already bought all the other demos on the VC, though!
only noobs post on info for a game just to say said game sucks. It's like people who know they won't like something, but get that something anyway just to have more reasons to hate it.
Also, you're probably psyched for this game, you just like to start Interweb Drama...
Kirby, please go to your doctor to have your sarcasm gland checked. ASAP.
