It's only missing 2 things to be a complete collection (without taking into account future releases): The Document Of Metal Gear Solid 2 and The Twin Snakes.

But even without them, it looks like a pretty good deal.

Sounds good to me, as being one of the four (okay, I own MGS2, but that's it), this will keep my PS2 dusted.

Sweet I always wanted to play 2 but the
special edition with the MGS skate mini-game,the theme was rad.

Also the Twin snakes version of MGS1:
"I see you like Super Mario Sunshine"

But this is good.

So are all three games on one disc? Wouldn't that mean that the original MGS2 and MGS3 releases took up only a fraction of the available space, wouldn't it? I was under the impression that they filled their respective discs. I find it hard to believe that you could fit all three games, plus Substance and Subsistence, on one disc.

F YES! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS! Can't wait to try this series!

...But I gave Devil May Cry a whirl with its anniversary pack, and found it disappointing... :(

It would be pretty awesome if they could put all 3 games on one Blu-ray disk.

I doubt that they'll ever make a PS2 version of Twin Snakes since Twin Snakes was ported by Silicon Knights and apparently had a lot of Nintendo involvement on the project.

It would be great if they did port it to PS2 or PSN. I'd imagine a Twin Snake port to Wii would be more likely (which may be interesting).

I've played MGS since the beginning and have all the discs still but I would still buy this collection in a heartbeat. I wish it had Twin Snakes though...

You people are missing the point of MGS:TS. It was a chance for people who never played the original to play a version that hasnt aged horribly. Did it work? Hell yes. I bought it and instantly grew to love anything that is MGS. Quit whining.

I already have the full set, but I don't have the Substance version of MGS2 and I have the Game Cube version of MGS 1. This might be worth picking up for me. (Though I'd sell my current copy of Metal Gear Solid 3.)

Be cool if they could throw in Metal Gear Solid PSone version. Heck it's only a 650mb game. Be a nice unlockable freebie.

I recently sold all my Metal Gear solid games, kinda regreted it ever since. This would be a nice easy affordable way to get them back.

I hope this is confirmed... so I can sell my copies of Substance and Subsistence on eBay to get money to buy this set.

I already have all of 'em, but I'd rather have them new and without scratches. ;)

I kinda hope (although I know they won't) that they add in the newer-gen features from MGS2 and 3 to MGS1, like first-person shooting. I can't play the first one anymore since I miss those too much.

Gee, it's too bad that they removed PS2 backwards compatibility with all "supported" models of the PS3...

Perfect, a big thanks should go out to Ryan Payton for getting this bundle out to North America. I wanted MGS2-Substance and have not been able to find it anywhere. I'll happily pay $30 for this collection and give my other set to my brother in law who expressed interest in playing the games.

Twin Snakes had less substance than MGS for PS1. Besides the other comments on the music and gameplay not fitting properly (it was too easy with the new features, a complaint I also heard with Subsistence). I already own MGS on PS1, MGS2, MGS:TTS, MGS3, MGA, MGA2, MPO, and MPO+. I would buy this collection if it came with either Document of MGS2, Metal Gear Saga, or VR missions (I hate EB for getting me to trade that in years ago). However, MGS3:Subsistence, does include theater mode and MG and MG2. I may buy it yet, Mr Frodo.
