As a guy who played through Resistance multiple times (weapons get better and more diverse with each playthrough and the game still runs buttery smooth most of the time) and still occasionally jump on the servers, I can officially stand behind this response to the "you don't have to keep pretending it was good" comment...

I read about Resistance 2 in the latest copy of Game Informer (yeah I still mags, but only in the bathroom) they listed some really cool features. They talked for about a 4 pages about how they changed the lighting for the game, how the 8 player co-op is supposed to be different each time through and as long as the original campaign and how the 60 player online multiplier mode will be broken into teams of 4-8 with particular tasks. Sounds cool. So who's up for some 8 player co-op and some 60 player multiplier...

For those wondering. Resistance 2 starts out in Iceland and eventually you wind up in America. Title is IIRC Resistance 2: United We Fall.

Here is to hoping it's better than the first one which was basically Medal of Honor with aliens.
Insomniac tend to make real cartoony looking games. I hope they are able to nail the realistic aspects better in this one.
